On the thread there is a post on it being the antipode of the Turkiye quake. Which is interesting in the fluid dynamics sense.

(PS - the new spelling makes my bad spelling even worse!)

This thread looks almost abandoned, did people stop caring about earthquakes?

The last big one was yesterday, in Morocco.

Morocco earthquake kills over 800 people, rescuers dig for survivors

I felt this one, some 840 km from the epicentre. It was felt as a light earthquake here, enough to move the water in my glass but little more. It also felt as it lasted for several seconds, but I can't find any reference to that.

The Portuguese authorities point now to a 6.9 earthquake, and the latest news to more than 1000 deaths.

The death toll is still going up. So sad.
More activity lately. A few 6’s in the last few days.

Some low level activity increasing too. Hawaii is perking again, Alaska, California. And a few scattered across the middle of the country. The Caribbean had been, but it seems to have tapered off now.

I sure miss the old days of Quake Watch!

We had a couple small quakes In Southeast Alaska last night. I got my shoes ready by the side of my bed but it never got any worse.
