I have talked about this subject a couple of times and something really weird happened today that I thought I would come back to it once again, but with a twist at the end to end up in The Grey Area.

I personal think that Algorithms and Friend/Foe AL is driving Americans to one extreme or the other. Now, this isn't truly nefarious in nature (maybe) as much as these tools are working to give you what IT thinks you want. So it kind of goes like this, you are moderate one way or another and you do some searches and what you click on to read is recorded as an interest of yours and these tools start to build a model of what it thinks you want. Over a period of time if you are left you start to see more left leaning articles, and same with right that sees more right leaning. Then the FF AI kicks in and if you are leaning left not only do you see all left focused articles, but you start to see only positive left articles and negative right articles as to what the FF AI is designed to do, left is Friend and Right is Foe. Do this for 8 years and you can see how we got to the mess we are at today.

These tools are constantly recording what it thinks your desires are, and things like Facebook and YouTube are further tools to be successful in getting you in that perfect box that the algorithms think you should be in. I did a search one time for chainsaws and for like the next month my feeds had links to chainsaws off of just one random search, not only that, but I flew to Dubai and the same feed showing a white family with the dad holding a chainsaw was now the same exact picture, but the family was brown. Kind of scary and also funny to try and sell a chainsaw in Dubai where you really have no trees to cut...lol

Last week another thing hit me as a friend on Facebook posted a joke about the Camp Lejeune "did you or a loved one serve" mass class action suit saying damn everyone must have been at Camp Lejeune at one time or another. I replied well I know a guy who knows this guy who was there so that means I should get paid too. Well 5 mins after posting I get this message to my private phone.

Did you or a loved one serve, live, or work at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune before 1988? If you did, you may have been exposed to toxic water and as a result developed a serious illness or even death. You may be entitled to significant compensation as a result of the CampLejeune Justice Act of 2022. There is no cost to join. Call 1-833-597-2146 to see if you qualify.

Freaky right? Now comes in the Grey area...

My wife is away for about 6 weeks and I been joking on Facebook with friends about not able to do things with her gone, and last night I was just thinking about what would be my next "not able to do thing" post, and I thought I would write about the need to go to Costco today, and I will need to brave the ANTIFA crowd, but since they are like 120 pounds of soy boy nothing to worry about...mind you I was just thinking this.

This morning in my YouTube was this...never really searched for ANTIFA, haven't written about them for like a long time, but this is at my top as a suggestion to watch, rather crazy isn't it? The other 3 I have have been following so they seem normal, but WTH is the other one...lol

Well, I'm probably marking myself for posting this but the simple mention / flooded with ads thing is well known. But what gets me is that there's no search, to mentioning it near a phone, no reading about it but simply THINKING it results in the same number of targeted ads.

That, to my thinking, means that we can throw out the AI theory and jump right to reality as a construct because if merely thinking something triggers the results then unless this AI is powerful enough to read my thoughts, something else is going on. Or maybe my brain is sooo powerful it radiates my thoughts. :/

I'm pretty oblivious to advertisments and associated suggestions on the sites I frequent.

I stick to around five sites exclusively, so it's not much of an issue for me.

Youtube isn't very intelligent about it's recommendations however, and they tend to irritate me a bit.

people are easy to manipulate when they dont form most of their own thoughts.

You can just be lead along with bread crumbs, those bread crumbs are memories and once you're using those memories to judge what you see, they're designed so that its very likely someone would make a decision a certain way.

This is why you should not fall into place, should not use the official buzzwords and labels or your memory will be constrained to that. Once its black and white, people who agree with something suddenly dont want to say that because they'll be seen as agreeing with the "enemy" even though we have millions of thoughts.

Why do you think the news sticks to 1 sole agenda at a time? its to reinforce the memories again and again then they can move on and many people now are saying these things for the manipulators.

Also you can just introduce bots due to people being trained to be used to twitter like communications of 120 words or whatever it is, so with such a small amount of text you can use databases of things people have said and just get bots to say those things, it can be hard to discern the difference. Then it makes it seem like lots of people are agreeing or disagreeing, plus if it sounds stupid it just makes people think that its humans being that stupid which divides them even more.

Once enough people grasp onto this, the bots are removed and humans start doing all the back and forths created by that.

Who's actually checking?????? the answer is nobody. All of this in my opinion is really to create more and more reasons to have online id for everyone "to eliminate the chance of bots". "to know who is saying the nasty things or spreading the disinformation".

The idea is to utilise the freedoms on the internet to do annoying, awful stuff to be a back drop of examples as to why it needs to be restricted and constrained, this is done by the very people who want to control the internet.

So true X. And this has been happening for a while now. I see only extraordinary acts of will to break these cycles, these feedback loops. This AI preys upon our natural mental inclination to make order of the world around us. Find one thing that helps and that leads to another and another until we build these mental edifices that we end up believing is the way things are, when in reality it's only a limited scope of reality. AI feeds upon this and it will take some doing to fight against it.

Well it is said if you repeat something like 27 times, or do something for 21 days and the brain takes it all in as real and factual. Sham Wow anyone...lol Super annoying, but no one will ever forget it. People hear it like 10 day...annoying, 20 times, supper annoying, but I wonder if it works, 27 times hmmm I think I'll try it.

This is why the media will run something for a weeks, months etc and then say my bad we were incorrect in a simple one time statement.

One person can blog a comment totally untrue and then it is reported 10,000 of times and becomes fact...

It's where my mind goes even though it's padded room stuff tbh lol.

A few people I talk to have noticed it and I can't imagine most people would be comfortable talking about AI reading our minds or us living in a simulation. I've had a few moments myself.

It could just be synchronicity and good old fashioned pattern seeking behaviour. An AI might be tapping into the simulation...

I never do You Tube, except recently I have been playing music.

So the playlist it assembled for me after choosing a number of 90s alternative girl bands seemed normal enough, until it asked if I'd like to listen to Stan Getz, "The Girl from Ipanema". I was taken off guard with that one, but I thought to my self, "Why yes, I would like to hear that!" Then it got weirder when a song from a swing band my brother played in years ago came up. Then a song from "Oh Brother where art thou?", a sound track I own. Otherwise it was choosing similar music to the 90s alternative I was actually searching for.

While this may be the case as regards AI controlling our internet searches, the plasticity of the human mind to be led along certain avenues of thought goes back much farther.

Like a million years. You should read the book The invisible Gorilla and see just how little we can comprehend what is around us.

I'll believe "ai" is something when you can work out an animal language with it.

However its just formulas and calculations and without the human awareness witnessing and directing these codes, its nothingness. The machine can never be "aware". It would be like thinking michael jackson is in your speaker because how could a cone moving the air sound that much like michael jackson.

But if your awareness is convinced....it will believe all kinds of things. It is simply a high level tool to get a computer to do "human like functions", so instead of having a guy watch security cameras you can have a computer scan images and match them to a database of criminals.

Or you can more quickly get the computer to make thousands of differential models than building them yourself, kinda like getting a calculator to do the adding up for you. If the numbers go beyond the limit of our understanding, its just simply pointless strings of numbers.

This tool, i think its real destiny is infact to actually prove how unbelievable the human brain is- people think its gonna be like some sentient thing or replace us....no by trying to mimmick us its going to show us things we didnt know about ourselves since scientists have kinda hit a road block in the neuroscience department.

Our brain is already the most advanced technology, we already have it inside our skull. We're in the quantum realm when we percieve and think, thoughts are VERY VERY SMALL but they're also everything to us.

Simple things like just changing how we use our brain internally, like conjuring memories via image recall rather than using words to bring them up is far superior in terms of speed and detail and the amount of information you can hold in your brain at one time - very clever people naturally do this because you dont start off navigating your memory with words as a kid cause you dont know them. You do however have the ability to make memories and get to them through a different system that you sort of over ride as you talk and talk and talk. Alot of this genius types, they keep that going and it only gets stronger and stronger just like if you practice at talking all the time, you get better at it.

Our brain has so many hidden abilities in it right now, they're only unlocked by thoughts though, by memory connections. You cannot feel certain things in your brain by just thinking something in words it wont produce the same effect if you did it a different way.

The difference is, in your brain you have all your memories, you can think a thousand different things at once but to say those things is very tedious compared to the speed of doing that. One by one instead of multiple connected things at once, this alone could dramatically change how we view each other and get us to externally be able to express the inner complexity of our brain more easily, its already there.

Hah! Feed the beast your heart and soul , it will know you better than you know yourself. Its going to be like ditching crack, when folks finally realize they have to actively make effort to regain that privacy by throttling their conviniences.

I would say that anyone with a mobile device or social media are being seriously manipulated by these algorithms. I won't use social media other than ATS (if you can call it that). I only sign into youtube for movie or game trailers as is needed for age verification.
But ATS is now full of people posting bitchute and youtube videos which are mostly opinion pieces, and I've notice after a day or two on here if I go to watch a trailer, the youtube main page is full of subjects of what ever I've watched here. I can see how fragile minds can be carried along on a surge of overwhelming doom porn.

Guardian - Twelve year old Jessica Scatterson

A 12-year-old schoolgirl who killed herself was “emotionally overwhelmed” and influenced by her intense use of social media, a coroner has said.

Jessica Scatterson, from Dallam in Warrington, was discovered in her bedroom, surrounded by soft toys and with “RIP” written on her heel, two days before her 13th birthday in April 2017.
She was allegedly bullied at school and struggled to cope with the pressures of social media, an inquest heard.

Recording a verdict of suicide, the senior coroner for Cheshire, Alan Moore, said: “It is clear to me that Jessica must have felt emotionally overwhelmed at the time she took her own life. The level and the intensity of her activity on social media platforms, particularly in the buildup to her death, cannot have failed to have influenced her thinking, her state of mind.”

Guardian - Forteen year old Molly Russell

The children’s commissioner for England has accused social media companies such as Facebook and Snapchat of losing control of the content carried on their platforms, telling them that recent teen suicides should be a “moment of reflection” for the way they operate.

In an open letter to Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube, Pinterest and Snapchat, Anne Longfield said the suicide of 14-year-old Molly Russell has highlighted the “horrific” material that children were able to easily access online.

“The recent tragic cases of young people who had accessed and drawn from sites that post deeply troubling content around suicide and self-harm, and who in the end took their own lives, should be a moment of reflection,” Longfield told the companies.

“I would appeal to you to accept there are problems and to commit to tackling them – or admit publicly that you are unable to.”

People will post something here as their fact to support their point which looking at it can be extreme or even on the crazy side, but hey they posted a link to support their crazy. If you then google their supporting facts it comes up with 10,000 exact word for word hits from 10,000 different sources, so it must be factual. When you actually dig a little you find out the original source was from only one neckbeard guy living in his mom's basement typing all day in his underwear.

I find this more than not, because I constantly research people's factual links. Same with videos on BitChute etc.

Our brains are easy to influence and trick. Magic users and games like Three Card Monte do it all the time in you physically can't tell due to limitations in our perceptions. Our brains would need to be massive if it processed everything that comes in. If we actually saw correctly we would see only slices of our vision with big gaps of nothing. The brain fills in our reality to smooth it all out. This is why magic tricks and Three Card Monte work so well every time as they play within these gaps. There has been a number of court cases won using this gap as a factor in the defendant's case.

The book Invisible Gorilla covers the 13 areas where man is extremely limited in our perceptions, and we just don't know it as our brains just fills in the gaps where it sees fit. Internet plays on all this too like we are constantly in an unwinnable Three Card Monte game and just do not know it.
