Mass stabbing attacks in Saskatchewan, Canada

I just came across this story which is ongoing at this time.
AgendaFreeTV is broadcasting on this live right now.
Apparently there were multiple stabbing attacks with many possible casualties.
They are searching for 2 suspects that appear to be brothers.
I do not have any more info at this time.
RCMP update at 5:40 Eastern time.

Edit - 10 dead with 15 injured at 13 different crime scenes, suspects still on the loose

I really hate to be the one to say this and I’m sure I’ll get flamed for it, but whatever. Imagine if just one of those victims had a firearm. Preferably the first victim

I am sad for the victims but taking guns away does nothing to stop a truly determined individual. Or in this case two attackers.

Can you elaborate? Aren’t caucasians the replacement population in this region and since we don’t know the status of either the victims or the suspects ethnic background, nor locations and governed status, isn’t this a bit of an uninformed reactionary statement?

The victims are from the James Smith Cree Nation.

I don’t have Canadian news. Are they saying the suspects are most likely not Cree? A couple of suspects that, by appearance, could be indigenous, have been labeled as as Latin American with drug ties and Muslim. But anonymous, not consequence, uninformed message boards, amiright?

Could be an alcohol and Crystal meth rage - Native communities have always had alcohol abuse problems and meth has hit them hard in the last decade.

Unfortunately this type of thing happening isn’t rare on First Nation Reserves.

These aren’t the only murders recently on western First Nations.

Family disagreements, clan rivalry, drug related, or got kicked off the nation for being bad asses them come back pissed off.

The above are all common reasons for this type of violence.

Small communities where more often that not the victims knew the attackers.

My wife is out at the lake in east central Alberta. Right on the back road rout east of there.
I called her to make sure that she has a little something prepared

Yea mental health is a really big issue on some reserves where drug abuse, sex abuse and violence are all major problems.
Also as a Canadian I don’t know of anyone who has any problem getting a firearm that wants one and if anyone of the victims wanted one there are no laws to prevent them having personal firearm but I don’t believe it’s reverent unless attacked at home.

The handgun ban is just crazy I agree and it will do nothing to prevent anyone from violence.

The problem is in Canada you cannot legally carry so unless attacked at home your SOL. Although during hunting season having a rifle in the truck up north is pretty common place.

This isn’t all that far from me a few hours.

I hope they get these monsters and they don’t run off and kill themselves in the woods someplace..

Looking at all the MSM news and not one station is covering this shocking news. IMO this proves it's Cree Nation killing its own.

If it was White Men who did this, it would be around the clock coverage on every channel, if it was Southern Border Immigrants who did this, it would be Fox News with around the clock coverage.

Cree killing Cree doesn't get coverage.
