German Economy and Climate Protection Minister Robert Habeck said Monday at the World Economic Forum in Davos that lifting sanctions against Russia is out of the question, even if it would mean the loss of 100,000 lives, RT reports. However, in view of the aggravation of the hunger crisis, which is exacerbated by the blockade of trade across the Black Sea, Habeck is advocating not to start negotiations with Russia. According to the UN World Food Programme, there is a danger of a major famine and rising food prices around the world. These statements may be reminiscent of a now-legendary interview by former US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright about US sanctions against Iraq. In it, Albright stated that the deaths of more than half a million Iraqi children were worth the price.

They basically don't care what happens to us the plebs, the picture becomes clearer and clearer. No need for them to cover it up any more, most sheeps are so far gone they won't even notice. It's not even funny, most sheep scare the # out of me how delusional they are.

War, cold or not, sanctions etc are always about the destruction of the pawns (peons - same thing). It is only when the pawns cry out too loudly or the loss of them is too great for a civilization to bear does it seem to be an issue.

This is horrible, to say the least. If you sacrifice all your pawns to gain or protect certain rights and such, who gained what?

I'd add that they don't care how many digits they add to that 100,000 figure as long as it doesn't affect them or their lifestyles.
These people salivate at the very thought of their efforts thinning out the many herds leaving them with enough serfs to take care of the maintenance of their parasitic lifestyles.

They probably couldn't edit it, so deleting it was the next option

Perhaps they understand the cost of appeasing russia?

Europe made that mistake with another madman once, they aren't likely to repeat it.

Because the cost of russian sanctions is less than .0001% of what happens without the sanctions, as repeatedly proven in recent history.

It's the 'common people' that ALWAYS pay that price for appeasing a madman hell bent on territorial conquest.

So sanctions it is, and the more the better.
