Russia Invaded Ukraine - IMO This Should NOT be called the RUSSIA-UKRAINE WAR.

On February 24th, Russia's military illegally entered the country of Ukraine, and started killing Ukrainians and bombing buildings.

In short, Russia invaded Ukraine, and it was universally described as such, even when Russia said it was Ukraine committing "Genocide", in early March.

Since the invasion began, Ukraine's military and citizen-volunteers, have been doing their best to REPEL the Russian military.

Somewhere along the line, media and pundits began calling this a "WAR" between Russia and Ukraine.

Since Ukraine has not bombed any targets IN RUSSIA in retaliation, isn't it premature to upscale what amounts to Ukraine still fighting off Russian aggression, to a WAR?

Referring to it as the Russia-Ukraine WAR makes both sides seem equally guilty, does it not?

After all, Ukraine is still blameless in this conflict and 100% of the aggression is from Russia, against Ukraine.

IMO, the conflict would not become a WAR unless Ukraine bombs structures on Russia's soil.

Instead, they should call it the Cambodia-Belize war, just to confuse future historians.

Not too many people still believe Ukrainian military and civilians are actually fighting. Most are now beginning to believe that far more trained professionals from other nations are actually fighting.

Russia said ENOUGH and hit back. They felt their security was at risk, especially with Ukraine begging for NATO membership.

Not sure why this is so hard to comprehend.

It's not hard to comprehend. It's just that for those of us who don't follow international events in-depth, the only knowledge of Ukraine pertains to Hunter Biden, and Trump being impeached for asking Ukraine to investigate Biden family criminal dealings in the country.

Oh you're daying it cant be called that because ukraine hasn't attacked into russia before feb 24th...I didnt see many of that in the OP. As we all know now ukraine has attacked into russia enough times now that russia is threatening targeted strikes on Ukraine's decision makers...as in the top politicians.

Well I don't exactly understand how that would preclude naming a war the war of A vs B...

The left wants to paint Russia and Putin as the bad guy while propping up a Soros backed actor that was put in place by a criminal called Kolomoisky. Why? Because they have to protect their interests. They do not fight for something unless there is something at stake. And it most certainly is not the citizens of Ukraine. We all know the left does not care about innocent people.

This is far more than just the Bidens and their criminal dealings in Ukraine. There are many other big players with their tainted lives involved in the interworking's of that country. Even the State Department has its dirty involvement too. An entire web of deceit and criminal activity is at the center of Ukraine.....along with yes, actual n@zis running rampant in that country and emerged w/in the military. Putin was not just shooting the #. Then there are the biolabs.....the country is a bad bad place.

The best thing for innocent Ukraine citizens would be a leadership change and a large segment of the population removed. Seems Russian feels the same way.

Why can't you see. Russia is not the aggressor. Russia is responding to aggression against ethnic Russians.
