They have at least a few that are in maintenance, I'll almost guarantee. Down at Yuma the other day, they had two in the hangar, and one that had been on the ramp so long, they had sun shades up in the cockpit windows.

I have no idea how many are actually here. I've seen four, maybe five airborne at once.

But damn, they are weird. Generally less noise than the helicopters though, that's a plus.

A Marine squadron is typically 12 aircraft. VMM-268 and VMM-363 are based at Kaneohe, so there should be a total of 24 aircraft. Four to five at a time sounds about normal.
