It isn't about a persons 'ATS cred' it's about facts and DETAILS.
Fuzzy accounts of very little information does nothing for validating seeing something ''odd''.
It could be easily explained as a non UFO which is the point of the questions.
This sort of clique mentality on ATS is it's downfall, 82 flags for a thread called a ''HUGE event'' that no one else in MO seen or reported so far and not even a sketch of the ''HUGE event'' that mentions seeing a ''UFO''.
Maybe you believe anything you hear or trust in those you don't know at all, but I do not and nor do many others, IMO it's entirely LOGICAL to QUESTION something to get the facts.
ETA for the record there are thousands of corrupt people including politicians that are termed ''long term members of good standing'', I still wouldn't buy their snake oil.edit on 3-2-2014 by theabsolutetruth because: (no reason given)

Symptoms
Commonly, there are symptoms that precede the fainting spell. These symptoms may include:
Dizziness
Blurred vision
A sense of “tunnel vision”
“Seeing spots”
Changes in hearing
The person may feel lightheaded, nauseated, sweaty, or weak. There may be a feeling of dizziness or vertigo (with the room spinning), vision may fade or blur, and there may be muffled hearing and tingling sensations in the body.
With pre-syncope or a near-faint, the same symptoms will occur, but the person doesn't quite lose consciousness.

Also, as has been well established, Antar is a long time member in good standing here.
Perhaps next time instead of criticizing the OP's character we can address the claims on their merit??
"Pics or it didn't happen" is freaking lame

Wrong.
Apparently you are confusing ''belief sans question'' with ''lets get some details to establish facts''.
People expect more detail and facts, even if you don't.
ETA I never even mentioned ''pics or it didn't happen'' but was attacked for SUGGESTING that DETAILS should be given.

I guess the question then becomes, does this look like the sun halo that Antar saw?
As for the jets practicing, there is really no such thing as a dogfight anymore. In air to air combat these days, with all the satellite tech, gps, radar, and computers, enemy planes will be taken out from miles away, long before they even see each other.
