ATS is using excessive processing power during post creation. While making a post/thread, Firefox (most recent version, however this problem is NOT new and spans many versions) begins to utilize an entire CPU core, tying it up in constant 80-90% usage. I have a quad core phenom 2 X4 965 processor. RAM does not seem affected.

This drastically slows down speed while in tab. Out of tab the CPU utilization stops. In tab it is atrocious.

This is the only place Ive ever noticed this, and its something new to the new ATS layout. I would think it has something to do with the new scripts that have been implemented.

Is anyone else having this problem?

A fix for this was found I believe, it's a setting in the browser.

Let me find the link.

I recommend disabling Hardware Acceleration on all browsers. The feature just isn't ready for prime time.
