This is really weird! What lies on the exact opposite side of the Earth from the Great Pyramid? Three (Pyramidal) Obelisks. This interesting video show what lies at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, right to opposite Of the Great Pyramids of Giza... What awesome coincidence....

Has there ever been an expedition to this area to investigate? Are we sure this is not an anomaly on google earth? I wonder if it is visible above the ocean? Lots of questions, but really cool.

No idea.

But I don't believe no more in coincidences...

Relics of a sunken civilization?

I was thinking that these could be old remains of an ancient Volcano system. The Obelisks being the remains of a massive volcanic plug... the likes of which have been eroded over time to look the way they do today.

It appears from his video the lines don't even match up. Then he goes on to point out another feature that is along one of his lines. As far as I can tell there was no reasoning behind where he drew the lines at all so if he rotated the lines by a small margin there would be something else on the direct line he has drawn.

This hardly seems like proof of anything to me.

No,

before anything find out its not a glitch on google.

Then start speculating.

This is a as bad a person seeing Venus and screaming Nibiru is hear, starting a thread proclaiming such.

Why not do some basic research or do post these kinds of threads hoping other to investigate for you?

The Earth is an irregular oblate spheroid.
Mathematically, there are different "oppositions" depending on how you define the vector.

Then again, if this is some sort of magic, that answers all the pesky details. Just sayin'. Don't forget to sprinkle some fairy dust on it.

Considering it's also not uniform with the elevation in the area, I would also think it's a glitch as well. Also since volcanic plugs have a more defined look to them when shown in a more 3D view, I may have just thrown one of my thoughts on it out the window there.

... the exact opposite side of the Earth from the Great Pyramid?

An easy claim to check.
Various sources say the pyramid lies at: 29°58′45.03″N 31°08′03.69″E

Thus, the "exact opposite" is at 29°58′45.03″S 148°51′56.31″W

So for a start, your guy is lying to you.
His "interesting" object at 32°30′07.74″S 149°52′46.51″W is actually 296.6 km (184.3 miles) away.

What a liar.

Shouldn't the thread title, to be correctly accurate, say "person creates computer generated images which he says are of structures on the exact opposite side of the planet to the Giza pyramids"

Meanwhile, I have fairy dust, that makes unicorns do your every bidding, for sale. Please PM me for details.

That's just the spikes that hold the pyramids down. They are really really long.

Most likely just data anomalies in the software.

Yeah probably a database entry error/corruption with a 1 becoming a 7 or some such.

One thought, was is the actually height of this spike?

Not sure about the height. One other guess would be that these are large fish (whale maybe) that get tracked with the scan. The software just tries to represent the data point as best it can which end up being represented as a large spike.

Based on the size if we had it, I could speculate that it was ship wreck, some go down bow or stern first. Like the HMS Victoria (1887) that was rammed and sunk bow down. That might account for the oddity too.

Water probably erodes volcanic plugs differently than wind does, as we see here:

But there is a marked similarity.
