In Portland today a four story floating building showed up. It was made in Connecticut by no one knows why or for whom. It was floated to Maine where it is to be finished, but thats all that is know, so far.

Here in Maine, Cianbro Corporation will be working on the interior of the building. Reached by phone, CEO Peter Vigue said a confidentiality agreement between his company and the building's owner prevent them from disclosing what the building is being built for, who owns it, what type of work is being done, how many employees will be involved or even how long the project will take?

Full story here.
I want one... that would make an AWESOME bug out island!
Who wants to go halfsies with me.

Thats kinda what I was thinking.
Like in the walking dead....a prison all to yourself is a safe place to be!

That's whats known as a floating prison or prison ship. Easily transportable to the nearest waterfront where needed. Saves on money if you can move a prison rather than build a new one on land. Also can be used for other countries.
