Republicans in Congress receive more of the blame for the shutdown: 44 percent of Americans blame them, while 35 percent put more blame on President Obama and the Democrats in Congress. These views are virtually the same as they were last week before the shutdown, when Americans were asked who they would blame if a shutdown occurred.
Public opinion polls suggest that congressional Republicans will get most of the political blame in the wake of the partial shutdown of the U.S. government.
The poll is yet another indication that the shutdown is bad politics for the Republicans, and more significantly, could alienate even those who support the Republicans' underlying position on the health care law
n a rejection of congressional Republicans’ strategy, Americans overwhelmingly oppose undermining President Barack Obama’s health-care law by shutting down the federal government or resisting an increase in the nation’s debt limit, according to a poll released today.
“We Republicans started out the idea of universal health care,” Stein declared. “We Republicans, in 1973, sent a message to Congress asking for universal health care. It was killed by Edward Kennedy for no good reason.” “It’s a perfectly good idea,” Stein said. He added that, if the GOP wants to prove that universal health coverage is a bad idea and the Affordable Care Act will not work, allow it to be fully implemented and ultimately “ruin the Democratic Party for generations.”

Obamacare's first day glitches overshadowed by success
Thanks fro the right showing us this story. The glitches happened due to the overwhelming response to the first few days. Can anyone say..ObamaCare success...

The best poll I know of is the U.S. House.
All the Congressional districts (435) are just about equal by population.
Obviously, the majority of representatives represent the majority of the U.S. population.
No spin just straight numbers.

Why do you think "most Obama supporters" think they are getting free healthcare? And there's no such thing as an "Obamaphone."
The Obama Phone?
Obamacare phones offered to health insurance buyers

That's just not true. If that were the case then the President would be Mitt Romney. The Republicans lost the run for the White House the past two years by both electoral vote AND popular vote. Furthermore, your oversimplification of this issue ignores many variable factors, such as less people voting in off-year elections as opposed to Presidential-year elections.
So, your response is in fact a victim of spin.

It's all for show.
Republicans expanded spending exponentially under Bush.
