Your entire argument is a failure. I'm for some gun control, including background checks, but this entire argument is a total failure. Most of the people shot were civilians, with no special training, and none of them had guns.


If he wanted to get his hands on a gun easily he only had to go to Maryland, where they don't regulate the purchase of shotguns yet. He didn't even have to go through a background check.
