Hey,

Just a quicky, my Adobe PDF doesn't have the 'binocular' 'word search' function on my laptop at home.

Currently on my work computer and it's works a treat on here.

I've unistalled and re-installed Adobe, with no luck

I have hundreds of PDF's I need to search, does any one have any theries?

Thanks.

Might I suggest, where you have the choice, you use something other than Adobe for PDF reading? There are a number of free alternatives. I have Acrobat x on-board but disabled for file association because it's far from the best, IMO. Your little glitch being just one example.

Foxit PDF Editor is what I am currently using and it's a wonder for it's ease and power with PDF files. There are a variety of 100% free things like Nitro as well. I'd say just about all the major ones have more features.

Thanks Wrabbit - I downloaded Foxit, it does have a version of the search function, however not quite as up 'to scratch' as I need.

I guess I could try a few more programs

In the mean time, if any body else has the solution, please feel free to inform me

Right click on the toolbar and look to see if you can find the search bar option.
It's possible it was unselected by accident.

Use ctrl+f like you would anywhere else?
