President Obama almost backed off Syria

The Day that Boehner decided to back
military action on Syria because of the
Chemical Weapons he called the White
House.

After the call Aides to the President
describe him a being "visibly shaken".

An aide to Mr. Obama, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said that he was in the Oval Office with the President when he got the call from Mr. Boehner: “As it became clear that Boehner was going to support him on this, he looked more and more stunned. He was trying to stay calm and all, but you could see that he was really taken aback.”

New Yorker . com / Obama Shaken by Boehner’s Support

The reported quote is that after hanging
up the phone he told Aides
    "Boehner's supporting it.
    That's so weird.
This is still a good idea, right?"

After the President regained his composure
and had "seemed to settle down" the same
anonymous Aide said another phone call
came in. This one from House Majority
Leader Eric Cantor.

He also wanted to support the Syria Plan.

The Aide remarked that "That one really
rattled him. He was like
, 'I think I need to
take a long walk.' "

The Aide characterized this as "the biggest
crisis of confidence this President has ever
experienced."

When the Aide went to check on the President
later in the Day he found him holding his head
in his hands and he said "I just don't know. I
just don't know anymore."

The Aide goes on to say that Syria remains on
the table, but that the situation is very fluid.

And here is the kicker.

"If Rand Paul calls today and says he's in, the whole thing goes away."

Well the 4th has come and gone.
I tried to tell you guys.
For six days.

ATS: Why we SHOULD demand military action on Syria

Now we move onto phase 2,
C'est la vie.

No 0bama. Its not a good Idea.

Its not a "good idea" even if its meant with good intentions. Because 0bama has become the new "War Monger". All of his policies were continuations of GWB.

From the Patriot act, to "personal" kill lists.

No 0bama.

It was NEVER a good Idea.

I would have so much respect for him if he would just back out.

If Rand Paul calls in his support, maybe theyll find him with his head buried in a large bowl of water.

Isn't this a satirical piece, kind of like something from The Onion?

You aren't posting this as something serious are you?

That's hysterical.

Normally I don't agree with Obama on anything but at least on this it's easy to understand his confusion.

You DO realize that this is satire...correct?

At the end, in the "keywords" it says HUMOR.

It is SATIRE. People need to look at what they read a bit more thoroughly.
