Carey, a native Philadelphian, holds degrees from Temple University (B.S. in Business Administration) and California State University, Sacramento (M.A. in Anthropology), and also attended the University of Toronto in its Ph.D. Programme in Anthropology. An Air Force veteran who held a Top Secret/Crypto clearance, Tom is now a retired Philadelphia area businessman. He has been a Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) State Section Director for Southeastern Pennsylvania from 1986 to 2001, a Special Investigator for the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies [CUFOS] from 1991 to 2001, and a member of the CUFOS board of directors from 1997 to 2001.

Tom began investigating aspects of the Roswell Incident in 1991 for the Roswell investigative team of Kevin Randle and Don Schmitt, and since 1998 has teamed exclusively with Don Schmitt to continue a proactive investigation of the case. Tom has authored or coauthored more than 40 published articles about the Roswell events of 1947, and has contributed to a number of books on the subject as well. He has appeared as a guest on many radio and TV shows throughout the country, including Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell and George Noory, Fox and Friends, Comcast Network Friends and Larry King Live! and has contributed to a number of Roswell-related documentaries - on-screen and behind the scenes.

Tom was a consultant and interviewee on the highly acclaimed and rated 2002, two-hour SyFy Channel documentary, The Roswell Crash: Startling New Evidence, the History Channel’s Conspiracy Theory, the Travel Channel’s Weird Travels - Roswell, the SyFy Channel’s SyFy Investigates and the History Channel’s, The UFO Hunters. He was also a featured interviewee on the 20th Century Fox, Golden Anniversary, re-release DVD of the 1951 sci-fi classic, The Day the Earth Stood Still. His 2007 book, co-authored with Don Schmitt, Witness to Roswell: Unmasking the 60-Year Cover-Up, was the #1 best-selling UFO book in the world in 2007-2008. Its sequel, Witness to Roswell: Unmasking the Government’s Biggest Cover-Up, published 2009, still remains a best seller. Both books are considered to be the best books ever written about the “Roswell Incident.”

A motion picture, based upon these books, titled Majic Men, is nearing production, as is a TV mini-series based on the book. A new book about the secret history of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base titled Inside the Real Area 51, also co-authored with Don Schmitt, was just released in August of 2013, a week after the CIA finally confirmed the existence of Area 51. Another book about Roswell, with Don Schmitt and fellow-researcher Kevin Randle, is in preparation for a 2014 release. Another archaeological “dig” at the Roswell crash site is planned for later this year.

At this point, Tom is 99.99% certain that an extraterrestrial vehicle with crew crashed just north of the town of Roswell, NM in the late evening of July 2, 1947. There is 0% chance that it was a “weather balloon,” a “Project Mogul” balloon or anthropomorphic “dummies” from high-altitude parachute drops made during the 1950s. “Occam’s Razor” demands this conclusion, as we speak.

What happened at Roswell? What makes you 99% sure it was extraterrestrial vehicle? Occams razor demands that it is military terrestrial craft.

The "laser" said to have been found there, in your opinion is this a credible slice of the deal?

I would like to hear your thoughts on this..

The most interesting part of Roswell incident to me is the “Matilda O'Donnell MacElroy” « Alien interview.

This author received a package from a woman claiming to be a nurse in Roswell who was the conduit between a recovered ET body and the Military. The alien communicated telepathically only, and would only communicate with her.

These interviews reveal — for the first time in Earth history — the straight forward, simple fact that Earth is a Prison Planet! Further, that all of the Immortal Spiritual Beings (Is-Bes) on this planet are NOT native to this planet. Finally, that the “Old Empire” beings who established Earth as a prison planet more than 10,000 years ago, has been conquered by a new intergalactic invasion force, called The Domain.

Questions:

1. What are your impressions of the unique material reportedly discovered at the site and can you provide a list of it's unusual properties that it is believe to have had? There does seem to be a lack of general consensus on this.

2. What are you opinions on the malleable material, which at first glance appears similar to tinfoil? Do you believe we have seen its implementation in recent human technological advancements? Do we presently see anything that could have been reverse engineered from that crash?

3. Do you feel that Roswell is one of the most compelling cases of extraterrestrial contact to the present day?

Hmm, what an interesting guest.

I think anyone who believes the official "version" of the story would believe anything, and anyone who has listened carefully to the conflicting stories would come to the same conclusion as above.

I listened to one silly explanation by another author that the craft was actually a radar evading Russian saucer, with mutated bodies inside. I don't know how that would explain the Russians lagging behind the US technologically pretty much throughout the 20th century, and pretty much copying/using US aircraft designs for all their new aircraft models, if they were so far advanced in 1947. Her explanation also doesn't account for the fact that mutations, are just that, random mutations, and it is unlikely four mutations would be identical by definition. Her book was "Area 51, an uncensored history of America's top secret military base", the author was Annie Jacobsen. Though as is wont with most disinformation there was much truth mixed in with the lies, ultimately it seemed no more than a pro-CIA piece of work. I would be curious about what the author thought of that "work" on Area 51, and did he find it as misleading as I did.

1) I'll just ask once how would we tell if you were acting as cover or if you are being genuine?

2) By extraterrestrial vehicle do you mean piloted by non human entities? Trying to separate man made craft that have left earth.

Welcome Tom... were you aware of the British witness to the Roswell Incident?

In 1996 when the film starring Kyle Maclachlan was released a British girl appeared once on TV to tell her story. She said her father, when dying of cancer in 1974 told her the whole story of Roswell and how he knew it was true. Note this was 1974 before any of this was really known. Having no real interest in the subject she really paid it no heed and thought, they were probably the ravings of a dying man. She did however inform a few close friends of the story and it was they who told her about the film and asked her "Isn't that verbatim what your father told you?"


The lady did indeed realise that her father's tale was no the moonshine she had thought it was for 20 years and approached the USAF to confirm that her father had indeed been seconded to the 509th in 1947. The USAF told her that, no British officer served with the 509th and that, one might imagine was that, apart from. She has a photograph of her father in full flying gear wearing his RAF hat standing among various other flight crew in American gear under a huge sign saying. Welcome to... home of the 509th....

I have tried to track that footage from the show "This Morning" fronted by Richard and Judy Madeley for the morning magazine "This Morning". So far no luck and as the production company has changed and moved to a new channel, there's no-one remembers it who currently works for them.

All I remember was that. The lady would be in her late 40s early 50s now and she lives in Cornwall and it where she was brought up and her father died there, in 1974, of cancer

This is a totally new witness as far as the Americans are concerned. it is not the daughter of a USAF guy who moved to Britain. I have contacted Stanton about her before however, for whatever reason, he simply didn't seem to twig to the possible importance of her story should it be true.

I suspect the best course of action would be for you to contact Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan's people and ask if you can talk to them direct and just maybe they remember her name?
