I'm on a different part of the curve over all this.

Ever since Snowden made the NSA surveillance public knowledge
(in the popular media anyway)

I have signed up for Facebook and LinkedIn.

Why?
Why now?

Because now the jack holes I'm talking with will watch what they type.

I have always been careful to only say what I mean,
and mean what I say.

But In my estimation TPTB raised three generations of sarcastic people
just so they could have documentation of them saying all kinds of stuff.

But now that people are settling down,
relearning how to speak forward
instead of sarcastically
I'm back in the conversation.

And [color=gold] I must say it has been a blast.

All these disparate people that I know,
seeing links they never knew existed scroll on my facebook page.

One friend hates all things Ted Nugent, and carries buckets of cool-aid for the Dems.
Another is an avid Deer hunter with a Nugent autographed shirt.

One is a Muslim with political commentary about Palestine.
Another is a redneck tree topper, who believes in mud ridding and war.

One is tea sipping coffee house intellectual, who worships The Onion,
another is Ann Coulter reader, who links to Fox news vids.

One is a Mom who posts recipes,
another an antigovernment cynic.

They all had no idea,
how wide my circle of lifelong friends really was.

And you know what.
No flame war has started between them.
I give credit to the chilling effect of NSA surveillance.

They are scared to dig in, rant, and spew sarcasm at each other.

Maybe we can start to have a real conversation after all.
Once the seething simmers down.

/any chance of that?

Just reinforces the idea that Snowden was a plant by the PTB. Now everyone's been indoctrinated to the idea we're actually being watched vs just assuming so but never really sure. Wonderful.

I always said we should
try him in absentia
fine him $1.00 US
and let him come home.

ATS / Snowden is the Poster Child for an UnEthical Generation

But nope.

I got ten pages of people demanding I was bad,
and should feel bad.

The kids were unable/unwilling to admit any guilt,
even if that meant we could then rally around him as a symbol
and push back against the secret courts, and tissue thin warrants.

So now he's a Russian,
and we are left only with the Police State.

Well,
I suppose that paying $56,000 for the D)isk O)perating S)ystem
compared to the $ 265,982,744,892 value of Microsoft,

could

be called "giving it away"

But I don't think screwball-typing is going to protect you.

I wonder who the first person will be to use
the "auto correct" defense.

And if they will get off or not.

With the right lawyer they will

All I'm saying,

NOW is the moment
to sign up for facebook
link up with ATS so the headlines stream

and actually state you freaking opinion on things.

If your friends and family attack you, at least you gave
them something to do,

and if they don't
maybe they will start talking with you
once they have enough time to see where you are coming from.

All the years I spent in the east,
folded into my meditation,
and my youth spent waking up to write in my dream journal,
I now wake up instantly,
with fully formed programs that wrote themselves
just waiting to be coded.

It's not too late.

The way I started was I tried to see if I could notice what position my body was in when I woke up,
or if I tossed and turned a bit before I was really awake.

The first week I would be in homeroom and remember,
I forgot.

The next week on the bus,
I would remember too late.

The next week,
eating breakfast, or in the shower before.

Then one day,
I just woke up.

People in Boot Camp describe similar experiences,
after a week or two,
they are wide away, a few seconds before reveille sounds.

Speaking of Lotus,
I find stretching helps a lot and feels great.

Intellectually I find people hate stretching as well.
No so most conspiracy theorists.

Either way,
start slow, and easy,
enjoy the burn, and soon enough you start feeling younger.

I just think no one really cares...... face book is typically full of people just posting things about what they are doing and where they have been... bragging and gossip. everyone has that loud mouth opinonated person you eventually hide or delete. There are a few that frequently engage him but no on really gives a horses patooey.

I have seen little to no change in the interactions on facebook.. The kill zimmerman fb page is still up and so many other distasteful things are still present. CNN is still full or retards posting retarded things...

there have been cops watching the streets to catch you speeding.. yet they catch tons of people speeding every year...

not sure how snowden spilling the beans will make a difference. people still speed after cops were put on the street...... people will continue to mouth off on the net at the same rate... and those who were not doing so in the past will continue not mouthing off simply because that is how they roll.

were you walking till cops started making speeding citations? did you only start driving after they were?? has it really made a difference?? even teh cops break the speed limit.

enjoy fb.

Yes, I am.

Just at the moment,
in my estimation,
when the surveillance state is fact and no longer crazy conspiracy talk
I am doubling down.
