what is my avatar representing?

i chose that pick for a reason, its one of the many amazing stela of seibal guatemala.
in my opinion that is the best picture of a being from another dimension.

dont you just hate the accidental "enter"..?

well anyway i have been brewing a theory lately about those strange long skulls that have precision holes drilled in them...
i know the theory is, that the holes were made to relieve pressure from a head injury,
but some of the skulls have even five golf ball sized holes in them,,,
if someone clubbed someone who has already four holes in the skull----- well there is not much left to repair,
so i believe the holes were for connecting---something in the skull and maybe even the brain....

and was it the popol vuh,, or some other codex that mentions that---
the wisdom lies in the other head, the upper head, and it has tubes(hairs) connecting them and different types of "oils" run through them...

Should probably be in the Aliens & UFO sub-forum, along with all the Ancient Alien threads.

This is embarrassing. Imagine a historian introducing their acquaintances to this forum only to discover the Ancient Civilizations section is overrun with Alien threads..

mods are welcome to move this somwhere else, if they see fit.
well, the stela is from an ancient and lost civilization,,,

everything else is just speculation,, mostly...

it could represent a priest of some sort,,, or a shaman, or a warrior,,,,

mainly because of the strange legends,,,
and the that weird eye is carved in a different style than the others...

also the ceremonial mask (?) is extremely weird looking compared to others..

the general appearance seems alien, to me.... it just stands out from the rest.

and i posted this here because i am really interested in hearing other peoples opinion of the pic....

Sorry I got out of bed the wrong side this morning.

To me, the one in your avatar reminds me of an elephant. Like this one from Honduras.

I can't clearly see what you are referring to. Can you circle the portion of the avatar (maybe a bigger pic) so that we can see these holes and check out your theory?

it happens to us all,,

and this was going to make a lot more sense anyway,,,
srewed this up a bit...

and the avatar pic could represent someone who had a permanent "mask" or helmet on,,,
i am referring to the elongated skulls, that have several holes drilled to them...

my only proof--- is that if somebody has sustained severe head trauma before--
the head cant take much more bashing after the holes are drilled,, and based on the healing of the bones,
they werent all done at the same time...

many of my friends, also say that it looks "elephantian" how strange...

thank you, for your opinion...

and for the serious researchers out there,
many of the original investigators in that place, think that its a "wind god"

Whatever it's representing, it has the awesome spirals found in so many ancient artworks. I love me some spirals, and wish they were utilized now-a-days like they used to be.

yes i am familiar with those,, my personal theory, is that the mayans from the later period,
"mimic" those designs in their jewelry and decorations,
just like when in ww2, when those tribes that lived
in an island (cant remember what) and saw airplanes, and they started to build huge model planes from twigs..

that other pic is from the same place,

i still cant believe how beautiful it is....
they really stand out, from many other stelae..
but the absolute most amazing has to be the tomb lid of pacal.
he also has a lot of strange things going on, and the surface of the lid is so perfect,,,,

Perhaps (or not) the OP has aliens in mind. But what the OP is describing does not necessitate aliens. You do realize, I hope, that some people believe that our record of earth's ancient history is not complete, right? And whether or not it indicates alien contact, that some ancient civilizations may have had greater technology than we realize?

In fact, did he use the term "alien" in the OP?

thanks,, and i used to believe in ancient astronauts,

nowadays i believe in the potential and greatness of man,

and once again, for the serious researcher, i saw the two first pics as a child, in an old book,
and my neck went stiff, browsing through hundreds of pictures, until i finally found them.., --print!--

the bad boy, by the way, is believed to depict a chief.

but to me, it has strange angels and proportions that act as a written language,
in my view point, they are not just pretty pictures, all the different shapes have a meaning,,
and there are some other researchers, that also have similar thoughts...

-a picture says a thousand words-
