The Biggest Cyber-Attack Ever Is Slowing Down The Internet

So says the BBC, that the internet is currently suffering under the largest cyber-attack yet known and that this is slowing down traffic and sites right across the internet.

So it seems an anti spam organisation (spamhaus) has fallen out with a dutch hosting company (cyberbunker) who state that they'll host anything except child porn and terrorist material. Now Spamhaus has blacklisted the web hosts DNS servers.

I want to be educated here, because on one hand we have a web host apparently standing up for the freedom of the internet. But on the other we have an organisation fighting spam who has many ISPs and other organisations signed up to their server blacklists.

I think we're been played with a little here. My suspicion is that Spamhaus aren't the shining light they may appear to be but instead a Powers That Be front organisation with an anti-free internet agenda.

So which side of the fene are you?


Mods did a search, checked the boards and feeds and even did a google search. If this has been posted then apologies. I don't know what more members can do though.
