Well exactly why you shouldn't bring that up. Since it's offtopic considering these people were actually innocent.

What are you, twelve years old? Anyone with basic comprehension skills understands I referenced sexual offenders cited in my previous post.

well anyways, the thread is not about semantic and rethoric.

The thread is about some parents who were lumped as sex offenders, because they took innocent pics of their kids after bath.

In a society where you are considered as a sex offender, get your kids taken away from you, because you took some innocents pics, logic become suddendly completely irrelevant

So what are we doing next, prevent bath and showers because it may expose kids to their own nudity ? (oh the horror)

No I'm not 12 and what is this? You said "these people". You didn't reference anyone specifically. This topic is about innocent people being wronged.

Why bringing that up, when the parents are innocents ?

Seriously

Sadly it is not about protecting people it is about getting recognition for a good deed. From the stupid walmart employee, through management, all the way to the lawyers and prosecution. It becomes a reward based system, where bonuses and good jobs and status is the reward.

The family were victimised and subjected to wolf like persecution. Trauma and emotional scarring is not of concern for the prosecution. The walmart employee gets to brag about his find on friday night at the pool hall while the little girls are crying themselves to sleep.

Anyone who thinks this is acceptable needs to be drawn and quatered.

The worker was "shocked" do you really think ANYONE is easily shocked now days?

Err this is America remember... some grown woman flashs her tit at the end of a pop song with a giant star over her nip during the superbowl and their country goes into complete meltdown. Even a friggin butt crack or slight nip slip (males included) in physical reality game shows gets a huge fuzzy blur stuck over it these days (whats next, censorship bars during the gymnastics and swimming events at the Olympics?)

But hey footage of nameless middle easterners getting ripped into pieces from missles on the evening news is hunky dory.

Kids cant play in the street any more, or make forts in the woods, kids cant run naked at the beach or pool, parents cant take footage of their childrens childhood memories and happy times because some other parents kids might get in the photo which means your some sort of pedo.

Yeah they exist but damn, if we havent let our fear turn our lives into hollow empty shells compared to what we used to have.

Hell you cant even smack a kid on the butt for being rude, naughty, destructive etc without fearing some busy body might think your beating the kid black and blue at home and who might ring the police on you even for simply giving a kid a verbal ticking off for bad behaviour... and this irrational fear and control will come back to bite the hell out of us in the next 10-20 years.

meh so many people these days jump to a negative conclusion instantly every time, we've been trained to see everyone as potentially harmful to everyone else, im sure they like it that way.

edit:- Just realized, yes people ARE shocked by alot now days even MORE so than we used to be... why, to me its because so much has been labeled 'bad' or 'inappropriate' through fear or 'protection' that people are starting to forget or be unable to recognizes 'harmless' behavior anymore. And I dont mean throw all caution out the window... there is after all bad people out there.

Oh and heres something, someone probably has already said it... but why in this day and age of digital cameras, flashdrives, internet file sharing and photographic home printers would pedos get their pics developed at a physical location in a mega store? No, jump to the conclusion the pics indicate some deviant behavior on the parents part, thinks the photo booth employee.
People just dont think now days... and look at the repercussions.

Even more to the point, why take pictures of them nude? What's to gain by it? I know if my mother ever showed naked pics of me when I was a kid I would be furious. There's just no need for it. Would a pic of a naked child be more memorable than one of a child with clothes on? Though I see no crime in it, I see no good in it either.

It astonishes me how snitching, lies, and bs reign in this world, and innocent people lose their kids, while people like my abusive step mother keep their's.

No Parent should take any Nude photos of their Young Kids.
The developer at a Store could be selling them to Perverts.
Believe me there are many PERVERTS in America
My ex wife and Uncle SAM.
And all the People that allow those under 21 to be sent to a War Zone.

Until they Lower the Drinking Age - Kids are those under the age of 21.

I remember around 10-15 years ago this happened to a popular U.K T.V news woman. There was a bit of an uproar in the U.K about it.

I don't blame the Wallmart guy, but the police and state should have known better.

Honestly, I am afraid to even smile at a child in public anymore. Children are wondrous creatures and are quite adorable. However, with all the media hype, I am afraid to laugh when a child does something funny or amusing in a retail store. If I see a child laughing, it causes me to laugh and smile as well. However, I am scared that some parent will point at me and yell, "he is trying to abduct my child". I know that is a little far fetched, but that is the world that has been painted for us.

So, you base your stance of age of majority on laws? You ONLY think someone is an adult if they can drink?

Does that mean "children" under 21 in other countries that are legally allowed to drink are "adults"? Does adulthood have lines that, when you cross on a flight, "kids" 18 become "adults"? That is quite an odd perspective.

What if a country lets their children drink at 12? Does that make them an "adult" in your eyes?

I'm sorry but they should know better by now. If they want to shop at Neo-Christian organization like WalMart, they kind of deserve it. Those (Walmart) folks are nuts. They think they know better than everyone else and see it as some kind of Right to protect children from their liberal parents. Sickens me. It's similar to homophobes who strike out at homosexuals when all they are doing is deflecting from their own, hidden desires to be gay.

Don't take your pictures to Walmart, Sears, etc. they are all the same (get a digital and printer... Problem solved. Unless your in-laws turn u in after seeing them).

I'm just saying Not to send anyone under the Age of 21 to War Zones.
Americans can't Vote till age 18.
Nothing wrong with Kids voting at age 16 as they drive a car.

There should be some kind of test to determine if you should be considered an Adult.
But I'll speak for My TERRORIST Country America who terrorized me
by holding a FAKE War which was mostly for the Benefit of the Rich People.
If anyone killed President Kennedy it was someone with a LOT of Money.

You cannot always Listen and Follow Your LEADER. Example: Hitler
It was the Hitler NIXON who sent me to Vietnam.
This Country is NO BETTER than Most Countries.

90% of American APPROVED of Vietnam.
WWII was 100% Righteous
Vietnam was at most 1% Righteous.
Americans are CRAP.

But seeing no good in it means their must be something bad about it, so therefore some form of deviance.

The fact is their nakedness is completely irrelevant, since the 'naked' isnt the reason for the picture being taken in the first place id assume, taking a picture of em having fun at bath time or at the pool or at the beach would have been the 'why', childhood memories, a snapshot of happiness... the nakedness is simply a byproduct of the situation. But as always thoughts gotta swing however slightly towards 'sex' doesn't it, good old fearful repression creating fearful obsession.

I mean, its gotten to the point in our society where a parent (especially if your male) cant even take a photo of their own kids at a play park without someone or the thought of someone questioning your actions might happen.

In my country 'kids' can leave school, get a job, get a license, have sex and get married at 16... and 18 is the drinking age (although personally it needs to be put back to 20).

Problem is, 'kids' of the last 10-15 years arent the same as kids from my generation, a 16-21 year old these days just isnt emotionally or mentally as mature as they used to be... and i blame that on the extreme protection mentality that's developed (interestingly) over the same 10-15 year period.

Then MOVE... You don't like it... go to Mexico, Canada, or anywhere else in the world and THEN complain about the USA....

You posted yourself, 90% of AMERICANS APPROVED Vietnam... BUT Nixon sent you there... hmmm... do you think any other president in his stead would have done different if 90% of Americans wanted it so?

The fact that you can freely complain about our country speaks volumes for the freedoms you DO have..

I'm sitting here watching AFV and they just showed a little girl of about 4 years of age, dancing in the driveway, her front and back side with only her underpants on. This is national TV. Somehow this is OK, but a few pics in the home bathroom are not. I can't tell when the show was aired originally.
