What events of 2013 would have caused a cry of 2012 is happening

I was just thinking how 2012 went out with a whisper and then deafening silence. I really had expected a long drawn out effort to keep the claim going. There even has been some effort to push 2012 back by Drunvalo, and Calleman, and TWZ, but it has not caught on.

Then again there have been events in 2013 that would have caused a firestorm of "it's happening, it's happening" and yet these events go by as they should with normal interest.

1. The recent bolide explosion over Russia.
2. The Pope stepping down
3. The asteroid that passed by
4. The Christmas comet - Christmas 2013
5. The Santa Cruz islands quakes

There has been ample material for alarmist claims, but nada.

Gone are the days where we would have heard that the Pope was heading for his DUMB.
Gone are the days when we would have had claims that NASA was telling lies and the asteroid would hit.
Gone are the days when some chump would have claimed that they predicted the bolide over Russia.
Gone are the days that every tsunami warning was a call for the end of the world

The doom porn disappeared. The ascension claims have all but evaporated.

Maybe 2012 was good in that it was such a dud that nonsense claims like this will have to wait another decade before they are acceptable.

Kind of boring around here actually after 2012 ended. It's good that those things happened and we are having the arrival of two major comets this year or ATS would loose many of their viewers. I miss the prepping threads myself, I learned a lot from them.

If things don't start getting more exiting, I may have to go back to studying all day.

From what I recall I think the ascention may have "happened" and those that their "frequences or vibrations" weren't ready for the 5th deminsion.

Listening to Delores Cannon's regression therapies she explains this subject in more detail. I would post but I think they are too many to view, which it would be hard to find the "right" one for explanation of the 5th world vs. those that would remain in 3D realm.

Lots of interesting things have happened since 2012 ended. May of the events would have caused a firestorm of screaming and yelling that the predictions of 2012 were true. Think of all of the 2012 threads about comets about to do in the Earth. Remember Elenin? Now we have a comet which appears to be about to make its first pass by the Sun. There is no outcry that 2012 was really 2013 and that the comet that might be beautiful this Christmas is the destroyer that the Mayans predicted (which they did not) and we goofed by a whole year and there should be claims that Elenin really discovered this comet as well or that the discoverer has been killed or whatever. There is enough here to lead to hysteria, but it is quiet.

The massive snowstorm in the Northeast probably would have also garnered some cries from the Doom Patrol. Of course once the new Pope is elected I'm thinking we'll start seeing more as they point to every minor event as being a fulfillment of St. Malachy's prophecy.

Actually that's your way of seeing it.

My way is that people will revel in idolatry and evil without feeling guilt or imminent consequence because they have been persuaded that they live in goodness, but it will be a false goodness.

It wasn't that long ago that you did a thread pondering if the 2012 Doomsayers and Ascentionists had learned any lessons from their failed predictions. Maybe they did learn their lessons, and those who might still believe are silently waiting with a "watch and see" attitude rather than risk being verbally assaulted by posting their thoughts on the matter here. Do you miss them as well? I must admit that I do. They were at least entertaining.

I am starting to think that a lesson was learned. Silence is a sort of evidence. I admit it is weak.

I do have great faith that people can learn and do learn. I know that people can also be tricked into believing things that are not true and it is often hard to get out of that mode of thinking.

I hope that people do see the world and events around us as interesting and not as a plan to get us.

The Moore crowd is calling our blizzard the US Government testing out HAARP so it's already started there... Lieder claims the blizzard was the result of "increased tidal forces relating to the Planet X complex being closer to the Northern Hemisphere."
