Asteroid 2012 DA14 (Timelapse)

Hi All

I thought members might like to have a look at this link of a timelapse video of Asteroid 2012 DA14 as seen from Australia.

Captured using a 50mm lens , iso 8000, f/2.2, 8 second shutter, 9 second intervals.

The asteroid is the little dot going from top left corner of the screen to the bottom, you will also seem a small white dot crossing close to it a satellite in the same field of view ( before any claims of something fired at it) you will also see a small meteor burn up and leave a plasma trail.

Great video, especially for such a simple setup. Looking at the numerous moving dots, I wonder if any of them are asteroids.

What's really amazing is watching all that other # flying thru the skies as well.
