A news report has been quietly making its way around the alternative media, under the radar screen, concerning a Delaware legal decision to strip county sheriffs of their arrest powers in the state.

The mainstream media has not reported the story, but the son of Vice President Joe Biden, who serves as Attorney General for the state of Delaware, has issued a mandate to county commissioners informing them that sheriffs in the state's three counties no longer have arrest powers.

When the information reached this reporter late yesterday evening, further investigation revealed that there is a nationwide effort to strip local sheriffs of most of their enumerated powers that are mandated in the state constitutions of the various states. Such a move would have the net effect of abolishing local sheriffs departments and strengthening the power of federal law enforcement agencies.

Can't say it surprises me.
Not sure how credible "the examiner" is.
I just really can not believe how in our face this all is and still there are people who refuse to see it.
If this is true then it is pretty clear why they are attempting such a thing.
It am afriad it is almost game time and I'm not talking about the friggin super bowl.

That way they are no longer the most powerful man in their respective county. That way they can do whatever they want.

It's just another example of the federal government's power grab. I assume that it serves the purpose of allowing the federal government to prosecute many more crimes than they normally would in these smaller jurisdictions. It's almost as if the FEDS can find a way to claim almost all crimes nowadays violate interstate commerce based on a presumption (without ever showing the crime violated interstate commerce which is a requirement for federal prosecutions) so they can invoke jurisdiction to prosecute those cases in federal court.

This is just not right in any way. We should be very worried if this
starts to spread.
Looks as though the fed's are going for a power grab, the question is
how do we fight this? Can we fight this? where do we start?
anyone have any idea's?

I sent the link and a few others i found to our local sheriff, dont know if he
is aware of any of this, but i'd back him 100% he has already stated publicly
that he will not enforce obama's gun bans, or any others that come out.
If it is against the 2nd amendment he is against it.

Really puzzled now as to how to fight this. There has to be a way.

The fight is at the state and community level where this can be countered.....but it would take unity of the
people, like 1776.
Grassroots is where tha battle is going to rage, and the only thing that will counter such moves is ACTIVE PARTICPATION>
SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHERRIFF.

I'm not at all puzzled. It's blatantly unconstitutional, and will not logically or
legally stand. Of course unless all the people in Delaware don't say anything..
Back to that avatar, a good one for the subject matter:
"LEAVE 'EM! If those men wanted a proper burial they wouldn't have gone and
got themselves killed in winter." The big guy, as Rooster Cogburn.

Flag and Star. If Bo Biden decided to amend the Delaware Constitution
with some mandate that didn't even sustain a petition passed around
for an initiative; I say that bowl of spaghetti isn't even going to mark the
wall, much less stick to anything.
Of course I'm in Illinois and we don't get to have guns anymore because
mommy said so.
