Western Australia women calls on ban on Boomerang in Controlled Weapons Act

In the link below,you will find,Karen Ried of South Lake ,who after a severe injury.Has call for a ban on the 10,000 year old practice of boomerang throwing.From it's beginning the Boomerang has been a deadly weapon, she states. There for it should be banned like anyother deadly weapon.Her local M.P agrees with her!

You do know they can be thrown in multiple formation. These semi-automatic boomerangs have no place in civilized society.

Why would anyone need a boomerang? Those dangerous weapons have no place in a civil society. This woman is clear proof that they have no place in a civilians hand. I think they should ban them immediately before anyone else gets seriously injured or worse. Hopefully the Australian government will act swiftly before any more of these get into the wrong hands. It is clear that Australians are just complete savages.

Me thinks one day they will only be allowed to use plastic eating utensils and only own scissors of the safety variety.

I could see having boomerangs back when Australia was wild and the citizens needed to defend themselves from saber toothed kangaroos but Melbourne has public transportation now and Sydney has four police officers and a meter maid. Curved sticks should be outlawed and straight sticks should require a highly regimented set of control laws and a yearly fee to own.

I don't see a problem, but that isn't what this thread is about, so lets stay on topic. I think everyone including myself has had just about enough of the gun debate and arguing. I like the light and humorous context of this thread, and I think it helps prove the point that someone will always be crying to ban someone else freedom because of their twisted and ignorant views.
