decided to try doing a galaxy using the various tutorials out there for Photoshop CS3, and this is what I came up with. Yes its pretty much devoid of color, but next one I do will have some color and glow in it
take a peek and let me know what you think

Use Hue and Saturation settings (with Colorize selected) to add funky colours to that above image with ease.

Looks good though mate, you're doing well.
