Here on ATS and elsewhere we educate ourselves. Every shill and moron has made us learn and push ourselves to become better. In the end it will not be a bloodless revolution or a violent one that will change a thing. It will be a generation of informed and educated people who simply take the positions of power in a real democratic society they will envision together with their people and make into reality.

there is no "asking" or "demanding". There is only doing. When we are ready to run for office, which we will have time to do so for another 50 or more years, we will simply be elected in landslide victories over puppets. That takes education and preparation. We need for the shills to keep coming and by their tactics, a better fighter in us to forge.

I'll say I agree about protesting. That WILL work, but only in the numbers you suggest. A couple million is what I'd say and 3 would be a nice bonus to add to it. The protesters would also have to be prepared to STAY for whatever time that took....Just like Egypt. You're also right in saying that's about as likely as winning the Powerball and finding you got an inheritance from an unknown uncle both on the same day.

On the other hand...Not all of us are just on the net and true...being here doesn't change much. I'd say MUCH...because there are plenty who read all that's posted here. Most get a chuckle or even a laugh. Some are interested ...and some learn or wake up by it.

Some who wake up are in positions that CAN have some influence and enough of that is what does change things. For others? Well... ATS isn't the only place and this isn't a place for grand stands and broad efforts anyway. It's a place to share, learn and exchange ideas. There is a lot being done and how much REAL activity is discussed publicly here vs. how much people 'wish' they did that gets discussed ....are worlds apart.

I think you completely underestimate the zeal Bankers/Government have.

I do fear however that the government will engage in a violent break-up of such a protest.
Even if 3 million people would show up.. They would call it destructive for the country/safety/economics etc.
