One of the things that can point back to our mysterious origins and past are the area's of our ancestors that sprang up in certain, key areas of the world.

This thread will focus on the region of Egypt, namely the pyramid's of Giza and the surrounding locations.

The video I'm about to post is a very long one, but does cover some fascinating areas of study and quite feasibly reality's.

It is an excellent series.........

The Pyramid Code is a made-for-television documentary series of 5 episodes that explores the pyramid fields and ancient temples in Egypt as well as ancient megalithic sites around the world looking for clues to matriarchal consciousness, ancient knowledge and sophisticated technology in a Golden Age.

The series is based on the extensive research done in 25 trips to Egypt and 51 other countries around the world by Dr. Carmen Boulter formerly from the Graduate Division of Educational Research at the University of Calgary in Canada. The Pyramid Code features interviews with prominent scholars and authors in multidisciplinary fields (see Cast): geology, physics, astrophysics, archaeology, biological engineering, magnetic field theory, hieroglyphics, and Egyptology.

The series explores penetrating questions:
Who were the ancients and what did they know?
Could the pyramids be much older than traditional Egyptology would have us believe?
Could it be that the ancients were more technologically advanced than we are today?
Why do we have so little understanding of the ancient Egyptians?
Are there still secrets hidden in plain sight?
Do new discoveries force the issue of establishing a new chronology?
Are there little known sites that provide clues to a new understanding of our distant past?
Are we really the most advanced civilization to ever live on Earth?

Another great resource is www.amazon.com...

Peter's research is second to none. His conjecture in the last section of his book is a little stifled, he does not always see the wider scope.

Easily one of my favorite documentaries. It is rather lengthy, but the reward is an in-depth, rational look at Egyptology and how the pyramids are clearly not what we were told they were in grade school. Highly recommended!

definitely one of my favorite mysteries!

I can't remember if it was this series, but when you get into the mathematics/geometry of the pyramids, and start looking at things like how far the earth rotates in one second, all that sort of stuff... mind boggling.

well, short of learning how to read egyptian hieroglyphs and going to egypt to read every manuscript found and the walls of all the pyramids, you'll never know the truth of the pyramids or at least form an opinion.

zahi hawass, the same guy from the chasing mummies show, had everything under lock and key while he was head of antiquities for the american puppet dictator mubarak.

so it's safe to assume all knowledge, ancient technology, the true nature of the pyramids or anything that threatens the "interests" of the united states will never see the light of day.

if they exist.

but there's good news. whatever's left belongs to the muslim brotherhood now.

After seeing the post above I went and watched the videos, this is actually not the video I was thinking of... as posted above, there is alot of crap in here...

If you want to understand the real pyramid code, look at the mathematics and geometric data stored in the main pyramids/pyramid complex - and the relations there are to the size of the earth, the position of the pyramids on the earth, as i mentioned above, the distance the surface of the earth travels in 1 second, the time it takes the earth to travel around the sun, etc etc.. I would also mention the astronomical alignments, but I'm actually still a little uncertain about them, although I believe them to be based in some kind of truth. (eg, the sphinx points to leo rising in 10,500bc, the pyramids reflect constellations, etc)
But in the interest of making the strongest possible case for a mystery I would advise sticking to the mathematics and geometry.
