I look back, two paths to follow
I look back, two paths I see
Whereupon my greatest love can be found
Betwixt the birth and death of my life
I look back, one shines above the rest
I look back, one shines darker than pitch
And I sit lonely, with both
Never to know which is the beginning or the end
I look back, staring at myself
I look back, staring at what will come to pass
Two, yet the same
Duality shaped from infinite copies
I look back, and what do I see
I look back, and cannot ever see
Which path was the right to choose
What life was and will always be on the path not chosen
I look back, and see I was wrong
I look back, and see all the pain
The right path was the wrong path
The left path was what left me behind
I look back now and can no longer see
I look back then only to see them merge
The two paths now a causeway
The two paths splitting the sea
I look back upon those furious waves
I look back and feel them crash over me
As I drown, I feel her hands on me
As I drown, I feel her pushing me to the deep
I look back, all is black that I see
I look back, all is black in the sea
