Ohio came entirely to late to the game concerning Casinos. I have always voted to allow them, but to little, to late. The states surrounding us have had them for ten years now or so.
I voted for the smoking ban in public buildings, but have since done a 180 as they are using that ban to enforce even more stringent measures. I guess I didn't think that one through to well.
I vote across the board, looking into candidates and their past performace and how much they stand their ground on things that they believe in.
If it's a toss-up, then where they stand on the 1st and 2nd Amendment makes up my mind.
I almost always vote against the local taxes and levies in my town. They rake in more than they need and blow a good chunk of it on wasteful things.edit on 23-10-2012 by TDawgRex because: (no reason given)
