Please read the entire OP.

The title is not confirmed as fact but is what I've heard from somebody whose entire family lives in Libya.

Not to mention the inconsistencies with the story altogether.

A friend of mine says that his family swears up and down they haven't heard of any such a movie. Although we in the U.S have now seen the trailer, that doesn't mean anything. This would likely explain why in no photos from the protests are their signs with anti Israeli sentiment, or any thing complaining about a movie at all. Instead, we see AMERICAN flags being burnt, and this isn't just in Libya.

Also, if this was a protest over this movie (trailer), and "Sam Bacille" (who ironically isn't even confirmed to EXIST) is Israeli, then I think the protesters are at the wrong embassies and consulates. These people aren't stupid, they know what they're protesting, and they know WHO they're protesting.

What my friend says is that a grassroots movement was brewing in Libya and some other countries. The grassroots movement in Libya was gaining some momentum in uniting people under the cause of following Gaddafi's plan to unite Africa. This involved spreading the movement to Tunisia, and Egypt to gain foothold. Ironically, this is exactly where the protests have spread to.

Apparently U.S black ops, operating under the Al-Qaeda title, have been picking off the leaders of this movement. Kind of like an over seas cointelpro.

Now, I have done a pretty thorough search (although I'm not entire sure how to search for such a thing) however I've come up dry.

If anybody has ANY information supporting this or not, PLEASE share it here.

Also, if anybody can dig up more information on this movie producer Sam Bacille, share it here.

Something ain't right about this.... I mean how the hell does a producer in America release a low budget whack film, and hours later folks overseas are protesting, when Americans didn't even know it existed.......? This is bull#..

When Bacile’s legitimacy began to be questioned, the AP traced the phone number they had called to Nakoula Basseley Nakoula. Nakoula, 55, a Coptic Christian, said he was the manager of the company that produced the anti-Muslim movie, but denied that he had posed as Bacile. However, other connections to the Bacile persona have been unearthed.

Nakoula has frequently used alias names in the past, including Erwin Salameh and Nicola “Bacily,” among others. In 2010, he pleaded no contest to federal band fraud charges in California and was ordered to pay over $790,000 in restitution, sentenced to 21 months in federal prison and ordered not to use computers or the internet for five years. Thus, hosting a “Sam Bacile” YouTube channel may be deemed a violation of his probation.

An attorney for Nakoula, listed as James Henderson Sr., did not respond to FoxNews.com's request for comment. On his legal website, the Santa Monica-based lawyer is described as a specialist in “white collar criminal defense and federal criminal violations.”

Pastor Terry Jones of Gainesville, Fla., who burned Qurans on the ninth anniversary of 9/11, said he spoke with the movie's director on the phone Wednesday. He said he has not met the filmmaker in person, but the man contacted him a few weeks ago about promoting the movie.

"I have not met him. Sam Bacile, that is not his real name," Jones said. "I just talked to him on the phone. He is definitely in hiding and does not reveal his identity. He was quite honestly fairly shook up concerning the events and what is happening. A lot of people are not supporting him."

Because the film was released in July? As were the previews?

Why was the protest on 9/11 when it was released on the 7th month.

The interz web

I to was a bit surprised at how quickly the situation deteriorated as a result of this movie, but mass media has made everything more available.

Social networks are a double edged sword

By that logic, the entire Middle East and South Asia should have known about Pastor Jones and his Qur'an burning stunt before people in America did... again, I smell bull#...

A - the movie was released in July
B - Islamic extremist are the only double edged sword in existence
C - It takes no conspiracy to incite muslims to violence.

Anything else?

I don't get it. Why would we be offing all the leaders who want to unify africa into something similar to the european union. Wouldn't the entire african continent under the leadership of a NATO or US puppet be much easier to control and reap the riches off the continent than if it were still just a bunch of spinning their wheels and going nowhere pathetic nations that we can't even communicate with let alone totally manipulate.

No... An African union wouldn't be under the leadership of one man. That's too risky. Just like this grassroots movement was said to be a network of individuals across different countries.

If that came to fruition, it would be sorta like a UN type set up.

I'm sorry that you don't consider your own president, and government as a whole, as a double edged sword - yet an invisible "enemy" whom you can't see is definitely one.. smh

By your logic, I should be pretty violent right about now huh?

I'm noticing that this is all very fishy and smells like psyops.

Only the Libyans involved know the truth.

I have a question:

I have been watching CNN all day, and was watching News yesterday, but why are they not interviewing the protestors? I havn't heard anyone confirm why this is all happening.

As an American, no, I do not consider freedom of thought or expression a double edged sword. I also consider Islam a cult of degenerates. When you chop off your daughters head, because muhammud tells you to, that is not religion. When you chop off a thiefs hand, because muhammud tells you to, that is not religion. When you stone to death a wife, because muhammud tell you to, well you deserve no respect. When you kill an honest man because someone, somewhere made a crappy movie, you deserve no respect.
Anything else...

First: you could never point out where Islam commands any of those things, as it doesn't.

Second: Did you know Chris Stevens? Or was he only an honest man because you're an american tip rider?

Third: Your president and government represent freedom of thought, or freedom of expression????? GTFOH

We live in a crazy world. No one person, country or view is right or proper. Everywhere there is hate and lies. Islam and Christianity, included.

Open your eyes to it.

Why is this about religion? I responded to a lie, and am not here to debate on the validity of religion. I couldn't care less who's right and wrong, as long as the "truth" is kept in play.

It's not. It's about hate and lies. DangerMcBacon attacked Islam, then you defended it is all.

First: you could never point out where Islam commands any of those things, as it doesn't.

However...

Qur'an 2:191 "And kill them wherever you find and catch them. Drive them out from where they have turned you out; for Al-Fitnah (polytheism, disbelief, oppression) is worse than slaughter."

For a complete understanding, and not the MSM version of quoting the Qur'an I suggest you read and POST verses 2:189-2:192

Plus, "fitnah" translates to oppression, and tribulations. Not polytheism, disbellief, and oppression...

I own a Qur'an, it's next to my Bible on my book shelf. Don't do the same thing Christians do, change terms to fit the time. The Qur'an just like the Bible is full of wonderful philosophies and terrible practices.

Do you understand Arabic? No? Ok then. I do, and know a lot better than some bull# translation.

The word for disbelief, or denial is "Kufr". This word is also used to describe 'polytheism'.

The word "fitnah" has nothing to do with religion OR belief.

Big deal, you have a translation of the Qur'an.......

I thought there was going to be a presentation of some evidence judging by the title, instead you present the above.... oh dear.

I don't fully buy this official story but I don't know the truth... and by what you've posted neither do you.

"STOP THE LIES" when you show they are lies (that's a challenge not confrontation btw).

Also out of interest, as I may have missed the point, why are these protesters attacking western targets? Is it because the leaders of a secret movement to unite Africa were killed? Then why are there no signs or slogans of from protesters pertaining to this? After all, their secret must be known now, after all this violence.
