Since when is the truth considered a load of crap on ATS?

Corporate capitalism is a form of capitalism, so yes you have it. In one of its forms.

Thats called fascism.

It is not capitalist at all.

Capitalism is a free market where supply and demand rule. What you are talking about is called fascism or socialism, though slightly different terms. Socialism tries to dictate supply and demand, fascism is just a monopoly.

Thanks for the words, I really do know poor is all about. It isn't so bad, as not having much helps to enighten one to what actually matters, love, family, friends, beautiful children, and the good times that always taste so sweet when you got them.

Plus a lot is to be said for working your way through life, I used to do work with my head, and I hated it, I now mostly work with my hands, and find it to be very fulfilling. My family complains, as I was the "genius of the family" even went to school for computer and electronic engineering, got all As...... was in cannon fire direction control in the military ( the brains behind the artillery) I don't find my life to be wasted though, I never measured success in dollar signs anyways, money never mattered to me as long as I get by, I don't wish for a lavish lifestyle, those people always seem so pathetic and selfabsorbed to me, only caring about money and screwing friend and family alike to get more, even though their already richer than anyone could spend.

I think more people should measure their success by good works, and great times, not how many gold bars are in their safe.

Agreed. We have to find this strength in each other and not within our so called leaders. There is no point in debating this until the point where we want to tear each others eyeballs out.

United we stand and divided we fall.

Agreed, right here right now, we are playing the game they want by the rules they want. We are all arguing semantics, instead of coming together to stop this.

They want us arguing like this, over scraps from the kings table, amongst ourselves, this just plays right into their hands.

And the worst part, we are all guilty, to one extent or another. What are we thinking?

Fascism is a capitalist centered ideology.

In its simple form but when dealing with nations then it takes on different hues.

Socialism does not try to dictate supply and demand. You're confusing it with Communism. The terms are not interchangeable.

BS...fascism comes around national socialism.

Socialism is a step towards communism where you can not step back from without avoiding snares.

I don't think it is so much as gold bars as compared to what our society thinks what are basic needs. I spent a lot of time overseas and I know what are basic needs and what a family can actually live on. In most other parts of the world money is such a little part of their life...it's there but not really their main point. When a person really breaks down what they really need and what is a luxury then we come to the conclusion that much of what MOST Americans see as needs is actually luxuries...that they can't afford.

I have friends who put all their effort into buying 5 acres or so with a small house. They raise one calf per year, don't have cable, have one laptop that they use common wifi, have one house phone and a good working old truck. They grow and can much of their food and only need to buy a few things... They don't need much money... BUT that is all we care about...rich or poor it doesn't matter, AND the whole thing behind the 99%ers is that they WANT what they cannot afford...it doesn't have anything to do with need.

edit to add... When I go into their storage of where they have canned...it is crazy just how much food they have stashed away... LOL

BS...fascism comes around national socialism.

In its original form it had a healthy dose of capitalism. With Mussolini even denouncing both socialism and communism.

Socialism is a step towards communism where you can not step back from without avoiding snares.

That is what the communists wanted the comrades to believe but all along they were acting like capitalists.

Capitalism is a free market, property ownership and working for what outcome you desire. What part of that do you have a problem with?

The means justify the ends, the ends do not justify the means.

I don't have a problem with any of it. So how is Obama restricting american citizens from having property ownership and working for what outcome they desire?

Free markets don't exist. they never have because the good ol' boy system made sure that those with connections always came out on top.

OK really?

Obamacare forces a mandatory tax on ALL Americans.

The reason that the economy still sucks is because nobody wants to buy what Obama is selling, therefor, businesses stop hiring people.

What part of this dont you understand?

That isn't socialism it's crony capitalism. It doesn't matter if you are an individual or a large corporation you end up a slave to the state, which is the greater corporation.

The US forces all kinds of taxes on its citizens. It has from the very start. Why is it know considered socialism when it wasn't in the past?

Its called fascism and its time to face the truth.

the Democrats you voted into office are fascists.

No if ands or buts.

But it is funny how they point the finger at republicans and call them nazis.

Not really funny, ironic maybe.

This is just another example of the communist regime of Obama and Bush and .... to make everyone a criminal of some sort.

Just wait until they start locking up all those men who have 30 children by 29 different women up as "non-supporting" fathers.

Our country is extremely messed up.

Cause back when the Federal Reserve was created. Along with hundred or two years of other nations thumbing their noses in our business.

I'm not even a US citizen, so your attempt at switching the topic is a total fail.

I see you have nothing to fall back on.
