If your on the correct lines you may be able to see why it had to be 77.

So.

I gathered that there is an Aztec weapon called the Macuahuitl.
There's supposedly one left in existance in a warehouse somewhere.
But that rash of numbers...now that's where I'm freaking out a bit.

It isn't a word count, I tried to apply it to the note numbers, and description numbers. Hmmm....my eyes keep getting drawn to the florentine codex, but I don't think that is it either.

What if I said, for example 77,4 = K

Also look at the OP again to see what the numbers apply to, it's doesn't just point to a link but a place within the link.
