Mass Shooting at Oak Creek, WI

Seven people have been killed and many others wounded in a Sunday morning shooting at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek.

Police said three bodies were found outside the temple at 7512 S. Howell Ave. and four were inside the building. Among the deceased is the gunman.

Greenfield Police Chief Bradley Wentlandt said tactical units have gone through the building and have not not identified any other shooters.

The incident reportedly occured about 10:45 a.m. Initial reports said there were four victims, and an active shooter. Mutual aid was requested from other departments to respond to the situation. Some unconfirmed scanner reports say between eight and 20 people have been injured.

Scanner reports indicated that as of 11:40 a.m. that suspect may still be at large.

They are some of the nicest people I have ever met!

They are very peaceful, kind, and incredibly respectful of others.

Payers and peace for all involved!

Sorry for the victims but I have to ask if this is motivated by religion or perhaps another stage to justify the lobby for gun control?

Or is it just a copycat?

Unfortunately, we have to ask these questions these days because nothing seems to be what it looks like anymore.

I agree they are very good people. After 911 there were reports of violence against Sihks here in the US. Unfortunately some racist idiots can't tell the difference between a Sihk and a Muslim . In the US most people have no exposure to different religions.

True, but here in the UK, where not everyone has access to a gun from over the counter. People generally don't go on mass killing sprees. Every other day.

You see with a knife people generally stand some sort of chance. Hense the phrase "don't bring a knife to a gun show."
