Change username?

Hey, everyone. Is there any way one can change their username? Or would I have to completely do away with this account and create a new one?

The deal is sealed on your current account, so you would need to open a new one for a name change. You can't carry any stats from the old account to the new one.

There's no rule that you can't have two accounts, you just can't go around talking to yourself using two accounts.

You may want to check with the mods for their interpretation of the T&C:

16c.) Multiple Accounts: You will not create multiple user accounts and "talk to yourself."

Well that's what anxietydisorder said. You can't create a new account and have both accounts talking to each other like they are two separate people.

Pretty hard to out-cool a name tied to the father of the prophet Muhammad, and it's a solid name in Muslim communities that means a servant of Allah.

It's a good strong name, with a long cultural heritage. I say you just keep it. You haven't told us exactly why you want to make the change, but I bet it's not so important that you would need to hide behind another name on a board like ATS,

I resit changes like this on the grounds that I'm easily confuse by changes,

What part is not accurate? Your old picture or your new one? Your name? Your coolness?

You did come into ATS pretty gung ho, but I like that you are being open here.

The only way to change your username is to start over. Contact staff using the COMPLAINT FORM and they will ban your current one. Let staff know your new one and you are good to go....

Or you can keep what you currently have.
