D'oh! Someone point out to Bryan Fischer that apparently, according to news reports, James Holmes was a very active member of his Presbyterian church. Once again another Evangelical shoving their foot down their throat. (See: Rick Warren's off-base comment blaming the teaching of evolution)

Why does everyone have to point fingers before creating a solution? Does it feel better to know why it happened, but now how to fix it? I realize one leads to the other, but all of the chaos and defensiveness that results from such actions...

It's not healthy. It's counter-productive. Let's stop laying blame and start working together on a solution. The faster we stop fighting and start solving, the sooner we can guarantee this never happens again.
