UFO seen at 41000 feet recorded by copilot

I have no idea what it could be.

Seems legit to me, but who knows?

This video was given to me by a pilot that use to be in the air force and now is in corporate aviation. The video shows an object he captured on video during a night time flight from Texas to Florida and back. He was the copilot. At the start of the video he is recording the city lights below, using the night vision setting on his camera, when the pilots points out a bright object passing above there aircraft. He video records the object and the pilot calls on the radio saying that he has several objects in front of them.

Another plane pilot say he has them in sight. Yet another asks ATC if they had a report at 410. ATC reports that they might see traffic 3 miles ahead and instructs the jet to turn left.
Another voice comes on the radio saying it is the planet Venus. The pilots want to remain unknown for professional reasons so don't ask me the names, dates, or aircraft information.
This is real video, recorded in a real jet airplane, on a real trip. The audio is the recording of the real pilots and ATC radio communications.

Last night at about 01.25 i saw something that looked like a meteor passing just north of Stavanger "Norway" going west over the Atlantic.

Was this recorded yesturday/last night.

Quite odd.

I'm in favor of the bright light being Venus in consideration that it doesn't have any apparent movement, as would be expected of Venus.
Additionally, as stated in the video by one of the voices in the recording, Venus is also mentioned.

The smaller, dimmer light that appears to move, i strongly suspect is internal cockpit light reflection where the movement illusion is created by the camera operator leaning forward, or getting closer to the window.

What I always wonder is why do these craft have lights on, either they want to be seen or they don't and I am sure they do not need it for flight safety purposes like we use them for. So the question begs, if they want to be seen then why not just come right out and do it. Otherwise why would any advanced alien craft have a light on so it can be identified. Thats why I can never believe these reports where they video a light in the sky.

the pilot says "planet venus comes up every morning"...

I think for some of them it is light from the energy source used to power the craft

Wow bizzare. That looked authentic. Meanwhile it's someone just out of movie school looking to play a joke on people. I did that once too with a pic. It looked like a real UFO hovering there. Just a lucky pic I took. But who knows ha ha. It's always small in the distance, can't really tell what it is etc etc.

What I want to see is the UFO that comes right up to the pilot as there filming it so you can see the ship big and all the details of it. You NEVER SEE any pics or videos like that. So that's why I tend to think a lot of these are fake.

Seems credible, lots of information in the video to look at, seems a genuine video, no rash claims, good witnesses but still sadly just a light in the sky.

I would say it is not the planet Venus though, when you watch the video you can see it moving in relation to the stars behind it ruling out it being a planet or a star.

it could be another aircraft, but I doubt 2 experienced pilots would be excited to see another aircraft, they obviously felt it was something very unusual otherwise they wouldn't of bothered to video it or to release it.

I doubt we can determine what it is, so remains a UFO as in the sense it is unidentified. Good video though

After reading other peoples comments I'm confused. I thought the craft was the big bright light that appeared, moved down to the left diagonally, then appeared to get closer because it got brighter and stopped, pulsed and then went back up to its previous spot, sat for a while and then shot away. The dimmer smaller one looked like it was stationary and probably Venus. Plus the camera guy was focusing more on the brighter light not the dimmer small one.

Or it could be some other natural exotic phenomenon that may behave as an object in motion that the pilots may not be aware of due to not being trained observers, such behavior is classic of swamp gas. However, the planet venus explanation seems to be the most plausible here. Definitely not a UFO.

If that's real....Venus my ass! The bright light is clearly moving in relation to the dimmer light.

The guy's channel isn't full of BS UFO vids and he does have an interest in aircraft so just *maybe* someone did pass him the tape? No provenance at all. Who knows? He has another vid that's interesting, but, again, is anyone's guess whether it's real.



It's funny how we're way past the point of believing anything we see. What a world, huh? We turn on the TV and expect to be lied at and misled.

I think Reality has been overcome by a 'Spartacus Effect' whereby every time it clears its throat and steps forward...a bunch of mimics, hoaxers and chameleons do the same thing.

Well I am pleased you can be so self assured and determine for the rest of us that it is "not" a UFO, however considering it is still unidentified, and flying and some form of object I would have to disagree it is most definitely a UFO...

As for the rest of your comments well, hmmm, swamp gas? At 41000 feet, okaaaaaaaay then. Not trained observers? And who would be more qualified as an observer at 41000 feet? Who would be more qualified than pilots? And for the last time Venus does NOT move around in the sky . These are pilots, they are more than aware of what stars and planets look like at night.

I am not saying this is an extraterrestrial craft, simply that it is an anomaly that is worth investigation, it is a UFO because we have yet failed to identify it

I'd be inclined to believe it is what he says it is. I've seen 2 UFO's from flights I was on and both times were in daylight. And as usual both times I never had a camera with me. Ever since the last sighting I always carry a camera but so far I haven't seen any more!!

A/T Control : ..you may see traffic out there ahead of you - 10 o'clock at about three miles....zero six zero roll out heading two zero now, turn left heading two zero....

This suggests that not only was the object observed by one, possibly two seperate air crews, it also indicates that it showed up on radar for Air Traffic Control to be able to issue an approximate distance and direction of the object.

Maybe Venus in the background, this doesn't account for the other light source though....??

Interesting and the video does seem to match the audio but where did this come from?

Maybe if one asked the aliens they would exclaim "So that we don't bump into each other !"

Clearly they would have radar, and perhaps more advanced sensing technology, but eminate visual indicators so that less well-equipped craft, including human aircraft, can make a visual observation of their speed and trajectory

Contending with the partial contact conundrum, perhaps most of them are not really so interested in humans and frequent the Earth simply to gather essential resources

Neat video indeed. Even the pilot said there was traffic but he said ten oclock. this was more like two oclock but still didnt look man made.

Venus.

It's bouncing around because the camera is bouncing and the plane is banking.
But it doesn't shoot around like UFOs do ...
I'm saying Venus. I know ... I know ... that's not what ya'll want to hear.
But thats' what I'm going with.

Could be a rocket launch, and the launch vehicle being at later phase of the flight, just tad above the atmosphere. That would look pretty much like that.
