ATS Needs Help!

This does not address all members of ATS, there are some smart cookies, who actually inform people and contribute to the denial of ignorance.

ATS is getting lame... and I honestly see why people look down on conspiracy theorists. This place is a perfect example! The little motto 'Deny Ignorance' is 'cute' and all, yet I seriously find little to no denial of ignorance. Granted many of the topics lend themselves to subjectivity, but that does not remove ones ability to state their argument full while presenting 'facts' and such...

(You can skip the following, and just read the last two paragraphs if you'd like, these are just examples)
Hmm... I'm spouting off the top with this one and a couple of topics come to mind. One, being population control. Besides some 'Georgia Guidestones' and very few notable names through out history make mention of such necessity. I'm not going to sit here and ramble on about this topic, rather I will leave you with the following...

I'm not going to pretend that professor Bartlett is some Authority on the subject, yet he lays out an easily understood take on the subject. Here's another video, that correlates with this topic... if you don't care to watch some 1 hour lecture, check this out.



If you choose to respond in regards to either video, please watch them in their entirety... it's getting real old conversing with people that just want to stand on some soap box with out actually doing any of the research. If you want to get into some discussion about codex alimentarius, about the FAO, WHO and the UN's role in all of this, I'm all for it.

It's not about 'population control' per se, rather about the means in which we support our population through sustainable means regarding our current states of consumption and consumerism.

All I'm going to say is... please watch. This guy knows what he's talking about, he's not just some politician that bases his rhetoric on fear mongering or playing on the emotions of people just for support. Well, I suppose that's not all true, yet, he actually brings into light the exact problems with Obamacare, the ins and outs of the Constitution and the meaning behind what much of the founding fathers meant when they wrote the thing...

Don't care to watch the whole thing? I don't blame you... well here's the flip side of the same coin. Something flashy, with bells and whistles, creative and such...



All I choose to say for now is...
The road we are heading down is some very dangerous territory, this is where 'tyranny' starts to set it... There are too many damn people that have lost their lives to protect the freedoms of future generations in the United States to let what we have go to waste. All of those who choose to argue any of these points, must give the topic the respect it deserves. There are economic models that can be used in transitional stages, or even during times of distress. Which is the more appropriate? You decide, but don't just sit here making generalizing statements for they rarely apply. Stop using generalizing terms!!! It's getting real old watching people talk about 'socialism', fascism, and communism. Marx would be rolling in his grave if he heard some of the things people attribute to communism, yet even stating that doesn't mean a damn thing because there are so many versions of it, that nobody really know what an individual means when they simply use the term. If you're ignorant to what I mean, just read this page... then start clicking around on the internet and understand the different versions and perceptions of what it means: en.wikipedia.org...


Anyways.... my point is this...

Step your game up ATS... if you want to form conspiracies, AWESOME! There are many on ATS that I see as being more than just plausible explanations of current events. There are some crazy strategies that the worlds elites will adopt in order to assure the success of their endeavors, many of which may just be some 'sinister plots'. In saying this, stop with the copy and paste of some idiot that chooses to write about it, coincide these possibilities with concrete understandings of the topics at hand. Don't just sit there, toss in one aspect of a situation and pretend that correlation means causation. As wiki states it:

"Correlation does not imply causation" is a phrase used in science and statistics to emphasize that correlation between two variables does not automatically imply that one causes the other (though correlation is necessary for linear causation in the absence of any third and countervailing causative variable, and can indicate possible causes or areas for further investigation; in other words, correlation is a hint)

Many of the topics at hand are not just a construct of two variables. If anything, there is always a 3rd party... This is the beauty of 'Divide and Conquer', sometimes referred to as 'Divide and Rule'. We are becoming more divided by the day, which can be observed simply by flipping through the news channels. There is a very real strategy being deployed world wide, that aims to use this tactic and bring the power to a certain 'elite' group of individuals. The power SHOULD be in the hands of the people, and simply by the monotonous divisions that we are creating amongst on another that are based on our desire to control and manipulate one another... we are dissolving our chances of ending up on the winning side. To put it in simple terms, it's (You VS Me) VS 'Elite'.

All in all... I think the ATS members are giving a C+ effort in trying to prove or disprove anything... I'm calling for more resident intellect to help viewers understand the complexities of this crazy world. I've put in word with multiple individuals, trying to get them to sign up and provide some much needed information to make ATS better. I suggest you all do the same. I currently have a couple friends with majors in economics and political sciences, as well as retired military officers that may shed some light onto some of the topics found here. They are hesitant... I've been told that it would be a waste of their time, and that the 'real world' that consists of people that actually do something that are busy doing just that, something. Although I agree with their sentiment, I think they are missing one key aspect, and that is the power of the people and that knowledge is power. So keep up the 'good fight' ATS, lets just learn how to fight better.

This is a public forum...anyone is free to register and share ideas, conspiracies or current events. Sometimes threads are dumb, disinformative, lies even...sometimes it's just benevolent misguided members thinking they are right.

But it's all of us. Denying ignorance is a catch phrase, and not a realistic one. It shouldn't be taken too seriously, because you can't deny ignorance. It is a part of who we are. We are all indeed ignorant at some point.

For instance, we have a 9/11 theme...beaten to death back and forth between opposite sides, yet both feel they are right...and which one is the ignorant one? Which one will you deny? The official version or one of the many conspiracy versions? If you deny the conspiracy versions, than you have no conspiracy forum and this place has no purpose.

I know...some threads are baseless, illogical and contradictory to accepted science, but speculation is what we do when real evidence is not available.

An intelligent person will read the OP and if he/she finds it rediculous, will not post to it. All threads have their audience. Some find amusement in rediculing other's ignorance and will spend hours on that, some will post highly educational material and interesting food for debate.

Chose your subjects and people you converse with, you will find that there is no crisis on ATS. It is the same as it was.

It is a zoo out there, so don't feed the animals you don't like, and you will have a nice day.

As well, I am yet to watch any of the videos, but the information you provide is thorough and fairly concise. That's exactly what I'm talking about! I'll post some replies tomorrow, after a little more research. This is certainly something I'm interested in, for I live on a farm(raspberries and ginseng) and am always hearing about different herbicides/pesticides that warrant further attention as to health affects and such. Some what new to the field, so it's always great to get more information.

The current temp in the loft that I'm sitting in is 84, and this is now 6 a.m.(yes I do have a thermometer up here), I feel your pain.

I'm not just talking about crappy threads, and newbies. I'm talking about the responses to them as well. Granted, the threads that do see many replies and flags generally include a ton of information. Yet, I've noticed a very narrow scoped range of addressing the contributing factors to much of the topics. Such as the previously mentioned Obamacare, Tyranny, Population Control... 'Agendas'. I guess to me, it seems that a lot is said about very little.

I'd say, denying ignorance is more than just a catch phrase. From what I've noticed, it seems to be a part of just about every thread on ATS. From science, religion, to foreign relations... there's always a rebuttal. Should the phrase now be 'Implied knowledge, remain ignorant'?

As far as the 9/11 topic, that is one area in which the members of ATS have not failed in delivering.

People can speculate all they want, that's fine... but, lets say for instance, some person decides to make a comment like 'tptb want all of us as slave', 'tptb want population control', 'tptb want to round us up in FEMA camps, so that they can brainwash us while tsa agents fondle us'. I'm not saying they are 'going to far'. It's when... well, correlation becomes causation, and the jury finds guilt through distorted lenses that only view through ignorance do I have a problem. I know tsa agents, I know a high level FEMA employee for she is the mother of a long time friend. We've all have had conversations about said conspiracies. While the jury is still out, there's little real evidence that supports many of some sinister plot. I know, I know... they are tools, sheep and all that fun stuff... yet the ones I've spoken with aren't just some entry level employees and they see nothing of the sort. NOR, would they ever partake in such activities if there was some evil plot!

I ask a lot of questions, especially to those who should know the answers due to their involvement. I'm sure many do here as well... maybe the real issue is that ATS needs some of these individuals to contribute to this site. But then again... like I said before, they are actually the ones doing something, and don't find it in their best interest to spend time debunking wild claims about them.

This I agree with! I'm not claiming 'crisis', just that ATS needs to step its game up. By doing so, it forces others to do so that randomly come upon threads that aren't members. Repeat this... and well, we've actually achieved something here.

I love all animals equally , so I reject any notion of not feeding them... even the snakes in the grass. I'm generally always having a nice day, and they only get better when the enlightenment is in full effect.(belief in the power of human reason and by innovations in political, religious, and educational doctrine)

I'm starting to blame the staff, to be honest. Most of the best contributors, at least that I saw, have been permanently banned at this point. There are still a few people who make interesting threads, but for the most part, only the trolls and the doom pornographers are left.

Given how fast my own WATS rating has been climbing recently, that makes me wonder whether or not I should be scared.
