Nationwide UFO Sighting In Israel - Middle East - Two Massive Objects

I was stunned on seeing the sightings of this following our experience last night. We thought it was only us who saw it! That had seen it! I am a British expat living in Jordan and my parents are visiting me here for a few weeks - I just want to add that I/ we cannot explain what we saw; none of us are particularly believers in UFOs etc however it was hard to explain what we saw!

Here goes: my dad, children and I decided to go out for a walk around the neighbourhood in the evening in the dark, leaving my mum and our maid on the balcony of our home as we left, watching us leave. We happened to walk away from the direction where the lights appeared so I only saw the aftermath. My mum and maid, however, saw a light appear, which they at first thought was the moon emerging from the clouds. The light, however, quickly formed into a cone shape which expanded rapidly into a crescent shape that half filled the sky. The bottom section of the cone broke away and spiralled at great speed, expanding as it did so, and the spiral section then evaporated. The whole occurrence was silent, no sounds coming from it at all. My mother tried to video it but is not very 'technological' and could not figure how to use the iPad in time!
As we progressed on our walk I looked at the sky and noticed a huge crescent of light in the sky, which I commented on to my dad. It looked like a ' rainbow ' of white light taking up a large section of the sky ( the same shape and size as a rainbow ). I did not really think much more of this, although i did think it was unusual, until I returned home and spoke to my mother who explained what they had seen, which is what I have explained previously, the cone shaped light and spiral.

Had I not seen the crescent of light myself, I would have probably have dismissed what my mother saw, but having checked into ATS and seen that many other people saw the occurrence, this confirms what we saw between us!

I can't really speculate as to what this was, only that my mum swears she has never seen anything like it and that there are no reports in the mainstream media anywhere. I am really just letting you know our experience and will be watching with intrigue to see any possible explanations!

2) The lights over Norway weren't anywhere near russian missile test
3) Russia 3 days later denied that the norway lights where there missle test (western media left this off)
4) Spiral missile burns only go in one direction, really fast, and not evenly.

Now, if this is from the middle east, surely many rockets get launches there on a regular basis?

Why would this particular video, and pictures then cause such an uproar? If it is something that is regularly seen, why all the fuss about it?

It might very well be a rocket, I just find it strange that someone would record the rocket, especially in those areas, and not know that it is a rocket.

The sighting was unusual, and the circumstances were rare. But not unprecedented.

Launch was from the Volga River test range, active since 1947, but ICBM tests are infrequent.

Direction was east, headed for the Sary Shagan impact zone in Kazakhstan, used for testing anti-missile radars and interceptor missiles..[originally I had guessed wrong, re Kamchatka, the usual impact zone]

Spirals have been an observed feature of normal Russian rocket launches for at least 30 years.

ICBMs, unlike satellite launches, are 'lofted' onto steeper departure trajectories. They get high, quickly

Measure the range -- it got 'above the horizon' from Israel pretty quickly, even with Earth's curvature.

It's June -- near the time of the 'midnight Sun' in northern latitudes. That means sunlight is streaming over the pole, throughout the night. Something in the northern sky above the atmosphere would be backlit by that sunlight.

These 'accidental' factors combined to make this show possible.

And the widespread availability of pocket camcorders made recording it much more common than in the past.

In Russia these days, rocket launchings are announced, even military tests -- and when launched from submarines in international waters [not this time], advanced warnings are given [NOTAMS].

In Soviet days, these launches weren't announced. Ever. Even after.

So you've got to wonder, in years past, how many similar sightings in the Middle East and elsewhere were made of similar 'light shows' -- but they went without explanation.

They would have been 'UFOs'. Maybe?

Thank you, enormously, for taking the time to detail your experience and that of your family. You were all fortunate to have experienced it, and thanks to you, WE are fortunate to be able to see it so vividly through your eyes.

Your account, and those from other witnesses that you may have talked with later, is extremely important to 'UFO studies' because it constitutes a unique form of 'control experiment' in what people may perceive -- and misperceive, in some cases [NOT in yours!] -- when confronted with astonishing, sudden apparitions in the sky.

Since it's now clear it WAS a Russian rocket, the actual range of visual stimuli can be well defined.

The range of descriptions by witnesses can help judge the level of possible misinterpretation and misperception that some people fall into in other cases. YOU did not -- your account is a model of careful description of what you SAW, not what you thought it MUST have been. Again, congratulations for your generosity of time, and for your impressive descriptive powers.

Ok, this gets more interesting. At around the 57sec mark to about the 1:01 mark and to the left of the spiral in the first video of the OP,you see an object speed away from the dissipating spiral tail. You may have to rewind a couple of times at first to catch it because its a very quick shot. Very very interesting video on many levels. Im not sure it debris from the spiral or something else entirely but something else is there.

I.m.h.o these spirals are most interesting. Remember that the spiral is the oldest symbol that can be found, left by ancient civilizations.

A few spiral meaning keywords to start are: Balance, Progress, Direction, Initiation, Centering, Expanding, Awareness, Connection, Journeying, Development.

The Spiral is an ancient symbol of evolution.

It represents the cycle of the seasons and the cycles of Life, growth and change. Although each loop of the spiral brings one back to the same place, it takes one to ahigher and more evolved level at each turn.

On the Norway spiral i am still not quite sure, but on this one i am really thinking of a rocket launch.
I read somewhere ( i think it was on this site) that Russia will be testing a Nuclear ICBM soon, i don't really know when, but looking at trail you see when he films the lower part of the horizon it looks like a rocket launch trail. So maybe this is the test they announced earlier.

But US military intelligence would have KNOWN such reports could have
been connected with top secret Soviet missile tests. They would want to collect
all such reports. Military attaches in countries bordering the USSR would have been
tasked to collect and forward all such reports for analysis regarding the insights
they could provide about the missile tests themselves.

So the DoD's interest in "UFO reports" would have NOTHING to do with
'true UFOs' -- but with what the real cause of the 'UFO repoerts' were,
Soviet missile tests like this one. But they wouldn't have wanted the
Soviets to realize how much such reports were helping analysts.

That explains a lot. This event helps underscore that connection.

It looks like the Russians are NOW TRYING TO BREAK THROUGH THE IRON DOME just like they tried (and failed) against the NATO DOME in Norway. If at first you don't suceed, try try again.

the best way is to watch different videos from different locations, widely dispersed geographically. Take a look at some of the posted youtube links from Volgagrad and Astrakhan, showing the object headed straight away [not at an angle across the sky]. This is consistent with the announced flight path from Kapustin Yar to Sary shagan in Kazakhstan.

The spiral part was photoshopped in. It is so obvious you can even see a straight line where it ends. Both ufos are missile contrails.

Nope, I've watched two dozen videos from half a dozen countries, the spiral is real, if brief -- less than 10 seconds.

Did you guys even look at the pictures? It looks exactly like the norway spiral. Missles do not make spirals, leave supper erratic swirling ILLUMINATED trails. Dont even try to argue that its a missile.

It is so much a missile launch, I would bet a years pay on it, 2-1. You have the contrail going into the stratosphere, with the winds twisting it and glowing from catching the sun, textbook match for hundreds of others like it. Then, you have the upper stage that is probably putting a payload in orbit. The final stage engine is jettisoned, and is produces the same spiral as many others, as it starts to spin as gas is still coming out of it, producing the same effect as the Norway incident, which was a Russian rocket launch as well.

Some sort of plasma defense system would be my guess.

Possibly a system to shield from rockets/missiles.

Wasn't there really a rocket launch the day of the Norway Spiral?

Norways spiral seemed to be coming from the ground (as this one does too) and projecting some kind of a mirage in the sky where rockets and missiles travel. Leads me to think maybe this could be some form of an advanced and undisclosed weapons defense technology
