Obama's giveaway: Oil-rich islands to Russia

Now this is change we can believe in!

Obama-Nation Giveaway: Oil-Rich Islands to Russia

By Joe Miller

The Obama administration, despite the nation’s economic woes, effectively killed the job-producing Keystone Pipeline last month. The Arab Spring is turning the oil production of Libya and other Arab nations over to the Muslim Brotherhood. Iraq is distancing itself from the U.S. And everyone recognizes that Iran, whose crude supplies are critical to the European economy, will do anything it can to frustrate America’s strategic interests. In the face of all of this, Obama insists on cutting back U.S. oil potential with outrageous restrictions.

Part of Obama’s apparent war against U.S. energy independence includes a foreign-aid program that directly threatens my state’s sovereign territory. Obama’s State Department is giving away seven strategic, resource-laden Alaskan islands to the Russians. Yes, to the Putin regime in the Kremlin.

The seven endangered islands in the Arctic Ocean and Bering Sea include one the size of Rhode Island and Delaware combined. The Russians are also to get the tens of thousands of square miles of oil-rich seabeds surrounding the islands. The Department of Interior estimates billions of barrels of oil are at stake.

What a load of crap so Obama has a "all the above" energy approach, and giving Alaskan land and sea rights away like it was a bribe.

So apparently the only people who can't reclaim American oil are Americans's anyone else?

Sure no problems!!!

You know how many jobs that would have created?

How much tax revenue that would have generated?

In a country that is has been an epic failure and now we can see why.

Factcheck.org - Alaskan Island Giveaway?

Q: Is President Obama giving away several Alaskan islands to Russia?

A: No. The U.S. has never claimed ownership of the islands identified in viral emails and websites. They lie far closer to the coast of Siberia than to Alaska.

FULL ANSWER

A look at the map will give the reader some notion of the frozen “Alaskan” islands under discussion. All are far closer to the Russian mainland than to the Alaskan mainland. All lie on the Russian side of the U.S.-Russia maritime boundary set by a treaty that the U.S. Senate ratified overwhelmingly more than two decades ago, after being signed by President George H.W. Bush, and with the support of both of Alaska’s senators.

This is just another internet rumor being posted as fact by sources like WND.

FactCheck.org: No Obama conspiracy to give Alaska islands to Russia

FactCheck.org is the latest to look into an old conspiracy theory -- recently promoted online by failed Alaska U.S. Senate candidate Joe Miller -- that President Obama is trying to hand over to Russia some supposedly oil-rich Alaska islands.

No, Obama is Not Ceding Alaskan Islands to Russia

Alaska Dispatch - Is Obama giving away oil-rich Alaska islands? Nope.

Alaska Dispatch editor's note: A rumor circulating around the web recently claims that President Obama is "giving away" seven islands to Russia that the U.S. has claim to. It's been mentioned by failed U.S. Senate candidate Joe Miller on his blog, and has raised the ire of citizens upset about rising gas prices and concerned about U.S. dependence on foreign oil. The following article was written by FactCheck.org in response to the rumor.

This was an OLD rumor debunked ages ago that was only recently revived by TP'er candidate Joe Miller and ran with as fact by anti-Obama site WND.

As he later pointed out who is really at fault here.

In fact the Bush and Clinton administrations are directly at fault for the same inaction. A maritime agreement negotiated by the U.S. State Department set the Russian boundary on the other side of the disputed islands, but no treaty has ratified this action.

If your going to blame someone then he should have placed the blame with the president that didn't clearly state where the boundary line is when the treaty was made. This is nothing but a rather lame attempt to put Obama in a bad light. Like he need's help with that.

And he is wrong about the keystone pipeline eventually lose more jobs than it would have created not to mention all the oil from it was for export only no domestic usage. Obama did the right thing killing it. What idiot wants a huge terrorist target running through the middle of our country that does no good for Americans except for those that owns the oil companies.

Obama is not a Freemason.

Do you guys spend all day LOOKING for stuff to hate on? Seriously.

Freemasons are not the enemy. If anything, they embody the type of people we're supposed to be...but you're too busy pointing fingers to notice.

Good old Factcheck.org .. between them and Snopes, I've helped shut down numerous viral posts running through my facebook feed .. on both sides of the aisle and under many different topics.. the problem is people don't tend to research what they read and just run with it .. forwarding it on to everyone to help propagate the rumor like a rampant virus.

The masons are a buzzword in the conspiracy theory world .. just like Illuminati, NWO and TPTB .. Seems to be a hidden rule that you can't have a proper post without somehow mentioning one of these things =)

I agree, the Masons are not the enemy.. and likely never were.. but any sort of "fraternity" or brotherhood that has existed that long is a target for conspiracy.. there's no way to avoid that, unfortunately for them.

We can follow them through history. The Moneychangers (Bankers), Builders (Masons) and False Priests have been the three groups identified in the Bible as the "Experts" in the law that Christ condemned. Know them by their symbols and see them by light of the fruit they leave behind for future generations to untangle. There is one group that has corrupted this world and they are found under the heading of "Experts" who manipulate the law for gain. Private associations, ritual magic, paganism and Theurgy are the marks of this Cabal. They run the world. Follow the urine stain directly to the source.

His nickname is Daddy Warbucks. He is the war profiteer that has financed both sides of all wars. The bloodline has been around since before the flood. Enoch gave them a 70 generation judgment from God, which ironically ends in our day and age. The Entire Bible is written to chronicle this very story that I summarize.

Technically, if you hate the Freemasons, that would make you a Christian or somesuch. The Church was the only organization that worked against the Freemasons...because the Freemasons were introducing science to a superstitious people.

Ironic.. since most of the freemasons I know are religious people.. The freemasons of today aren't the freemasons of hundreds of years ago.

its not that bad really considering america bought Alaska from Russia when they was broke america should just sell Alaska back to Russia or to china and get out of debt, otherwise i cam guarantee sooner or later america is going to brake up into dependent states.and probably a civil war to follow.

We can't 'give away' or 'sell' something we don't own. As pointed out above, these islands were placed on the Russian side of the Maritime border signed by previous administrations, and this post title is from an obvious Internet rumor, debunked long ago.

Actually, if you read any history at all on Hermetic Philosophy or the Western Esoteric tradition, you come to realize that the church was just as corrupt as the builders. The Hermetic tradition is at the center of science and mankind's manipulation of the fruit of knowledge (Technology). The fruit of knowledge can be identified as the manipulation of Carbon. Satan's entire goal was to corrupt God's work. The mark of mankind is Carbon (6 Protons, 6 Neutrons and 6 Electrons). The lament of Humpty Dumpty tells the story in poetry.

Here is a literal translation.

Man sat on the wall of choice when he was vulnerable like an egg on a wall.

Man took knowledge and used it before he was ready (before the egg hatched), and had a great fall (from God’s grace). If he had just waited, he would have become his potential by hatching.

All of the King’s tools (technology) and all of the King’s men (Alchemists/Scientists/Mathematicians) could not put man back in his place of glory again.

The glory of man was broken when he climbed over the veil that God set in place for our own protection. The story of Genesis is this story. We would have expressed our glory from the inside out. Instead, we hatched early and tried to then put the pieces back together again. The search for knowledge is to regain what was lost. The ultimate goal is to continue following the deception and somehow get to the tree of life (DNA). God will not allow us to come in by jumping the fence. We must enter through the gate with Christ.

John 10

10 “Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. 2 The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.” 6 Jesus used this figure of speech, but the Pharisees did not understand what he was telling them.

7 Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.[a] They will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Specifically, the thieves are the ones who take from this world. They are the "Experts" in the law that manipulate the law for gain. They forge private associations with each other and conspire to take from God at the expense of others.

Technology is the means to their ends. It's the same old story that we read in Genesis. The thieves on the cross were pictured by us all. We are all in this world together. One group will choose to bear the cup of Christ and the other group will choose to be the baker and bake. One thief on the cross repented. The other sided with man. In Genesis, we have the cup bearer and the baker. The cup bearer bears the cup ahead of the reward. He does the work and suffers first. The Thief takes his reward early and the reward that he steals becomes the only reward he gets.

Interesting story, have not seen it in the media?

Not sure what Masonry has to do with anything (aside from your own bigotry?) Obama is not a Freemason, and I've never heard that Chavez is a Mason.

Thank you for the updated information. I still believe that this may be a compromise and tradeoff for political gain. There is really no reason for us to give away a rich resource to Russia. There is no real reason that both countries could not benefit. I will read through your links.

Alaska is a Sovereign State with it's own government and Constitution. The Federal Government has no rights to Alaskan territory outside of what Alaska permits. The Feds have a fixation with trying to "own" Western territory, but in the end the State owns all land within its borders unless designated by a signed treaty (such as a Tribal Reserve).
