I obviously did Bree hence voicing my opinion to that effect ....but there was no mal intent in there.

To the OP as I said the images are great and I would have been pleased to read your OP had it just said Images of the eclipse... I am glad you were actually not scared in the way the title suggests.

My annoyance with misleading titles and hoaxes not just yours is that it is like crying wolf. When the wolf arrives no one will believe it....

But again the images are great I'm happy you got to take them.

No it was misleading because it as the OP admits was misleading and on purpose. A much better title might have been Images of the annular eclipse. To be honest I would have been very interested to see them had I expected as much is what I am saying and pointed this out to the OP as I thought his pictures might be better received under a more fitting title. His work doesn't need flashy misleading 'the sun' type titles, it would have spoken for itself.
