Annular Solar Eclipe! It made me very scared! Photos!

Ok, so I went out to get set up early and take some sunspot shots and to my HORROR IT WAS OVERCAST!!!
Much to my dismay I figured this would be a bust, I could see some opening coming so I decided to set up anyway. Even though the begging was rough I did get this...


And it only got worse from there I missed much of first half of the eclipse You could several times see it without glasses though which was cool!

But then Suddenly the clouds cleared out and I got this.

Later I was fooling around and made a happy mistake!


I was a little saddened again as I did not get to see the ending either but it was fun! I may post more later as this was only some of what I did (also had another camera and some video shots).

So funny last bit to this or not funny depending on how you look at it. I shared this with my neighbors and anyone who came by. But there was this one couple on their bikes and I said "You want to see the solar eclipse"? They were like um No... and rode off...LOL Oh ok...I really don't understand that at all.

I don't understand your title, why doesn't it just say images of the eclipse? It is really annoying with titles that do not match the content :/

I do agree with the previous poster, the thread title does not match the OP... Kinda misleading.

It says Annular Solar Eclipse... is it misleading because it didn't make you scared?

Damn, I'm jealous man. I really looked forward to seeing the eclipse but it turns out we on the East Coast were not destined to see any of it. A+ photos. Absolutely excellent.

I'm guessing he was scared because he didn't think he'd see it due to cloud cover....I'm guessing.

I'm as confused about the title.

That was exactly what I was scared of...yes I made a misleading title on purpose. But really there was nothing to be scared of with the eclipse it was actually very wonderful!
