Disinformation, deceiving and psyops diversion of US military, concerning UFO-Alien subject, was taken to another level, after MSM reported that the Ex Army Col. John Alexander is leading a group of top-level government officials, for asking Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, CIA Director Gen. David Petraeus and National Intelligence Director Gen. James Clapper, to offer amnesty to anyone in the military who has been previously sworn to secrecy about UFOs.

(...)In the letters sent to Panetta, Petraeus and Clapper, Alexander states that former military personnel "claim that they are bound by security oaths to never reveal the information or have been overtly threatened by government officials. Even death threats for divulging UFO information are reported(...)"

The tricky part is that Alexander says that "there's no UFO secrecy, no policy of cover-up", but still he admits that military personnel are highly persecuted and even physically threatened after reporting UFO sightings:

(...)"My supposition is that A) there's no policy of [UFO] secrecy; and B) there are agents out there who think they're supposed to keep it a secret, so they're basically winging it. In other words, it's easier to tell you to sit down and shut up then it is to figure things out," Alexander, author of "UFOs: Myths, Conspiracies and Realities," told HuffPost.

Alexander spent a quarter of a century maneuvering through top levels of the U.S. government and military, searching for the supposed decades-long UFO cover-up(...)

Sooo, the guy is a former insider with top secret clearance, who spent 25 years of his life investigating reports of UFO sightings among military personnel, and his final conclusion is that "UFO secrecy is a myth", therefore I assume he's asking for amnesty to military whistleblowers, not exactly to protect them, but to make HIS point that there's no need of persecution, as long as there's no cover up agenda. But if there's no secrecy, why there's the persecution?? Is that an oxymoron??

I'm not familiar with Alexander, but it seems that he's into research on the UFO-Alien subject for quite a while, but he sounds like the average tool of the US gov't to keep the disinformation machine greased and working. Well, judging by the t-shirt he's wearing below, it says a lot about whom he serves.
