Similar to the ones featured in the matrix? They had more human like responses in the arms slow on their feet. Wars can be fought playing chess...

Very cool but not all that advanced, meaning if we really wanted to every soldier could be one of these transformers by now. But why would we want to spend all that money when we could get basically the same performance from 10 guys with the only downside being the death of some kid you've never met?
