How anyone can even minutely support obama anymore goes beyond all reasoning..

In fact, anyone still supporting obama should be considered damaged goods... People should treat them with compassion though, because not everyone that supports obama can see how deluded and self damaged they are..

Thanks for highlighting this, OP. This video perfectly explains why many, REGARDLESS of being Conservative or Liberal, are getting angrier and angrier the more they see their rights squandered in the name of security and safety. There's things I don't agree with RP on. But what I do agree with him on means more to me than any divisive political or moral issue we as a society discuss ad nauseaum. Freedom is what matters to me most. Our Constitution is what matters to me most. More than anything in this world!

I got into a rather heated discussion with someone on a Facebook comment thread after someone told me a vote for RP would be a vote for Romney. I tried to assure him I was not voting for Romney, I was voting to uphold our Constitution. He responded by asking me how Obama or anyone has taken MY rights away. I listed the numerous peices of legislation. His essential argument was that none of those effected me unless I was performing terrorist activities or the things expressly forbidden in the laws. He said, "I don't know why the government would be interested in a father of two who blows glass" so I don't see how this affects me.

This demonstrates the severe problem we currently have in America and it literally brings me to tears whenever I think about this mentality. It's because of people like this that American's have lost their rights. It's because people think the government will NEVER come after them, that they shouldn't care about the American's who have been affected by such legislation.

If even one American is affected by these laws that clearly violate the Constitution, then we are ALL affected and we ALL need to take heed.

What I never really hear, however, is how these laws are not unconstitutional. I only hear how it will not affect them.

The way I see it is if Ron Paul would turn out to be another puppet......We might as well never even try to worry about a president from there on out!! He is the furthest thing from a puppet in the history of politics.....

I really though Obama the first black President
would bring big positive changes with all his good promises he did to be elected

I agree. The gentleman I got into an argument with was an Obama supporter disgusted that I would vote for RP. He denied that Obama has ever solely taken away anyone's rights. I guess he forgot that Obama was once a congressman and voted for these pieces of legislation. I guess he forgot that Obama is now the president and signs such legislation into law.

The problem is, people are waiting for a figurehead to get on tv and announce "I am taking your right to freedom speech away", for example, before they will believe they lost their rights.

The thing that proves that Paul isn't a puppet is the fact that he's been the same person with the same platform and ideals for a very, very long time. That is just too much time and energy to turn a man into a puppet back then and then perform a media blackout on him when such a plan is starting to come to fruition. It makes no sense for Ron Paul to just be another Obummer.

If he was though... that would be one of the deepest mind-screws ever.

As for your side note, your welcome, even if you don't support RP as a presidential.canidate and/or are just unable to understand his message, the facts are simple... he has ALWAYS upheld the CONSTITUTION. His views are his own but the topics are serious and need serious thought and ideas behind them and they need not be ignored.

We choose Ron Paul, not because we are sheep, but because we trust his record, not because he is the lesser of two evils, but because he dares to stand against those evils.

Loved those videos but the surprising thing is that when supporters see this stuff, they will make up some kid of an excuse for him.
I wonder how that black lady feels now. You know the one that was interviewed and she said that shell never have to worry about buying gas again (she does and its just about doubled) or have to pay for medical care (she may be forced to buy it herself or go to jail) or have to worry about a mortgage again (assuming she hasnt been foreclosed on, she still has to pay it)
