House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith, a Texas Republican, released a new report on Monday outlining why he believes the Obama administration’s Department of Justice “has become more partisan than ever.”

The report details how President Barack Obama’s DOJ — led by Attorney General Eric Holder — has been “stalling” the congressional investigation into Operation Fast and Furious, has been “failing to enforce immigration laws” and has been “challenging voter ID laws.”

Source

The Attorney General is responsible for the enforcement of the laws of the United States and defending the Constitution. Of all agencies in the federal government, the Justice Department should not be motivated by a partisan agenda. Unfortunately, under the Obama administration, the Justice Department has become more partisan than ever.

The House Judiciary Committee has jurisdiction over the Justice Department and oversees the actions of the Agency. The following report gives several high profile examples of how the Justice Department has ignored the Constitution to impose the Administration’s partisan agenda on the American people.

We are definitely in a nation where I cannot begin to imagine a similar situation to the Justice Department of the 1970's finally turning on Nixon. I just can't see that here....

Holder and several after him will probably have to cycle out before we have ONE man willing to do the job of the Attorney General, despite the loyalty felt for the man who hired them. They don't serve the man, they serve the office. This Justice Department has simply forgotten there is any difference between those two things.

S/F!

Who can impeach the President?

It's funny since I have been studying law and in particular constitutional law. I sit here and listen to what the President has said and what he does. Along with what has happened in the USA in the past.

You do remember that Obama is a constitutional scholar and there fore he knows quite well the truth most just won't believe. You are called stupid and oh that's propaganda, don't fall for it.

The President has all the power to do anything he wishes; consitutionally! For well over a century we have had the facade of a Constitutional Republic and lately they flat out tell you it's a Democracy.

Lincoln declared "Martial Law" as it was the only way to fight against another country. He was murdered just before he was to give the order to end Martial Law. No other President has given that order. This is why Obama keeps saying that Lincoln was the greatest President as he knows what he has the power to do.

Under Martial Law the President is the highest power.

Look at this one:

Yet at the same time that the Department of Justice tries to block Arizona’s efforts to enforce federal law, it refuses to bring a case against states like New York, Massachusetts, and Illinois that openly violate federal immigration enforcement laws. These states have refused to participate in Secure Communities, a federal program that ensures that illegal and criminal immigrants are identified

Source - judiciary.house.gov...

Will not work with a program that ensure illegal and criminal immigrants are identified?
What possible justification could the Justice Department have for that?

How much more America? how much more?

What Constitutes an Exceptable Reason for the President Of These United States in Declaring Martial Law ? What does he Personally have to Present as Verifiable Evidence to WE THE PEOPLE and that Sorry Excuse of a Congress that Supposedly Represents us in Justifing such a Ultimate use of his Powers ? What Ever Happened to the " Checks And Balances " Written into the U.S. Constitution to Protect the PEOPLE From the Abuses of Executive Orders that are Not in the " Best Interests " of the American People ? ............Hmm.....

WE THE PEOPLE of these United States of America have been under martial law declared by Lincoln ever since the so called "Civil War"

The people as stated in the constitution means the States and not the people individually. The order of Martial law placed upon the States stripped the sovereignty of the States. Also under this order congress is only for show and only because of martial law can an executive order be used.

We have lived under martial law our entire lives and because of the 14th amendment we are US citizens for the first time. A citizen is a political status as compared to your nationality and completely separate.

Again "We the people" does not mean the individual people but in fact the States who accepted the constitution. The States already had their own constitutions representing the individual people. The Federal government stripped all rights from the States and created a whole new mini constitution with the 14th amendment.

Constitution Lesson One, finding Freedom is an interesting read and I would say a must. Drmeola is no longer a US citizen but is a National of one of the 50 States/Countries. What he talks about is the only lawfully and legally recognized approach to being a free person within the USA.

I first became deeply disturbed about Obama's rejection of the oath of office regarding his PASSING ALONG THREATS FROM TERRORISTS against that FLA guy who was planning to burn a Koran.

Since then he's gone against the constitution at every opportunity. And with NDAA signed himself "King". Sadly there's so little left its "king of nothing" or his own abomination.
