with quality of life crimes including senseless bystander killing sprees and home invasions most all on the rise,

Obama & Congress seem more focused on laws that restrict basic rights and create hefty fines (income) for the most petty ;'violations' thereof...

including having a rainwater barrel, or a pig, or growing your own veggies, or smoking in your own home, or holding a bible study group in your own home, even! all subject to hefty fines, prison, or both.

While I dislike Obama as much as the next person, those are state and local laws and ordinances. Not Federal laws and regulations.

Just saying.

They are indeed absurd and ridiculous, I would like to see how they intend to enforce these "laws". I think they intend to drown us in these, until they can prosecute and/or fine anyone whenever it suits their purpose. Because at some point everything will be illegal.

I bet that old bag claiming that second hand smoke is dangerous drives a car. A car pumps out billions of times more toxic fumes in a one mile journey than a smoker puts out in a whole life time.

Hmmmmm
the collecting rainwater thing is pretty extreme...
Maybe someone should catch some and run some tests to see what kind of weird chemicals they find. I mean, between the radiation from Fukushima, and all the junk they put with the chemtrails, something must stick to water molecules and then condensate. Someone should definitely check that out...

This topic has me soo damn HOT under the collar.. I think I will refrain from posting my first thoughts.. I am having a hard time staying calm. Honestly someone needs to slap the crap out of Coralin Feierbach. Its rich, This over weight woman, who clearly has her own health issues has the gull to talk about smokers..

I hope they take her cheese burgers away!

You just wait people.. All you who are so down on smokers, just you wait till they come for you. And they will. Oh they will...

To add.. I would like to see them enforce those laws. Clearly they do not have the man power to enforce such BS laws...
Most of this is to the point of absolute Bullocks.. I will stop now before I start cussing up a storm.. I really really want to just rant and curse and flail myself about.. Hopefully I will calm down here in a bit.. I may come back and re edit. otherwise, I am at a loss for collective thought.

"No collecting rainwater" is a LOCAL ordnance set by certain cities or states. It is not a federal law - so you undermine your own thread by turning it into a "Blame Obama" topic.

Utah has passed one of the most restrictive rainwater collection laws, you have to apply for a water right to do anything with rainwater. And Utah happens to be a RED state, it's current governor is Republican (Gary Herbert) and the last 5 governors have been Republican (including recent presidential candidate Jon Huntsman).

So please, direct your ire at the appropriate responsible persons or legislatures. The president does not set local or state laws.

I'm right there with you on this one. I am a smoker and a farm boy from Michigan who raises pigs so yeah, this really grinds my gears. All these new laws are such crap. I'm glad I live in the country because there is no way in hell that they will be able to enforce most of these stupid laws. This country is just awfull these days.

I hate to tell you this, but that Pig slaughtering law is in Michigan, the state that is on the cusp of a people's revolt due to the REPUBLICAN government becoming a dictatorship and passing all laws under "Emergency Measures" and caught ON FILM overriding and ignoring Democrat votes in the house.

They are, right now, a dictatorship. And it's a REPUBLICAN state.

I cannot stress this enough, those screaming about those Dastardly Democrats and the "constitution" need to check out what their REPUBLICAN friends are doing in Michigan.

Strangely enough, whenever this is raised in a thread discussing Republicans and Democrats the Republican voters suddenly go all quiet about it.

I hate both parties, and I completely believe that they are both owned and paid for. They are both as bad as each other. But when it comes to hypocrisy, no one does it quite so well as the Republican.

Thank you...I have been saying this for years....but that brainwashing goes so deep....

Suck on a tailpipe you die....look how long the majority of smokers live......my grandmother 101, her sister 98...3packs a day both of them....

Those people in NYC who cough and wave their hands.....but no mention of the stench and poison from all the cabs and cars...

These people need to stop grilling, having a fire place, heating their homes.....idiots.......WAKE UP PEOPLE....they are coming for you next....perfume, air freshener, b.o., farts, dont wash shampoo down the drain....where does it stop???

for those claiming water restrictions are ONLY city/state ordinance,

NOT ensuing toward Fed/Draconian/Congress/POTUS-level as the OP title suggests...

seriously?

at Agenda 21 level it is UN/NWO level:

nolathe.net...

Chapter 18 of The United Nations Agenda 21 plan is dedicated to acquiring and controlling all sources of water, on a global basis.

www.earthsummit2002.org...

”18.54. The implementation of water-supply and sanitation programmes is a national responsibility. To varying degrees, responsibility for the implementation of projects and the operating of systems should be delegated to all administrative levels down to the community and individual served. This also means that national authorities, together with the agencies and bodies of the United Nations system and other external support agencies providing support to national programmes, should develop mechanisms and procedures to collaborate at all levels. This is particularly important if full advantage is to be taken of community-based approaches and self-reliance as tools for sustainability. This will entail a high degree of community participation, involving women, in the conception, planning, decision-making, implementation and evaluation connected with projects for domestic water-supply and sanitation.”

Now where I have I read that before? Oh ya! It was today when we posted Obama’s newest plan on ‘Sustainable Development’ announced in November, just two months ago. I don’t believe this was well known and if not for observant Patriots keeping us informed, we wouldn’t be writing this.

The 124 page document entitled “America’s Great Outdoors” released through The US Department of Interior that we opined on earlier today and found here www.doi.gov... identifies 100 projects, 2 from each State. Nearly each project used terms similar to the Secretary’s “The America’s Great Outdoors Initiative turns the conventional wisdom about the federal government’s role in conservation on its head,” Salazar said. “Rather than dictate policies or conservation strategies from Washington, it supports grassroots, locally driven initiatives.”

That’s directly from Chapter 18. So we did a ‘word count’ on this 124 page document and found that “RIVER” occurs 415 times, “WATER” occurs 145 times, “ACCESS” occurs 144 times, “CONSERVATION” occurs 219 times and “PRIVATE” occurs 53 times.

Further evidence that Obama’s policies are that of a socialist. Further evidence on the importance of the local ICLEI influence. Everyone culpable in this must be challenged and held accountable. Changes must occur in 2012 or it will be too late. “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Anyone Who Threatens It”

Why is the U.N. even have a say at all in what goes on in tthis country that place should have been considered a dinosaur and it's too bad it wasn't disbanded years ago. Diplomats can do anything they want in this country and have diplomatic immunity.

What's next, controlling how often you breathe, to reduce the so-called "carbon foot print"? Maybe I shouldn't give them anymore crazy ideas.

This is not the country I grew up in and wish I could pin point the exact moment we started losing it. Whether the "green" stuff, patriot act, or the politically correct non-sense.

Anyway don't worry watch out for the "green shirts" is what I've been saying for awhile now. They'll replace the old idea of the brown shirt.

the reasons why they don't want us collecting rain water

1. they want us to pay for the water that gets pumped in.

2. the rain water isn't clean anymore, its full of aluminum because of the chemtrails, and they don't want anyone to point the finger at them. states with rainwater collection being illegal is most likely where the most dangerous rain falls.

3. they are evil.

the UN is not LOCAL.

at least not yet..

the US is apart of that. seems to me they are testing the waters, so to speak, no pun intended..

to gauge the reaction to such a law..

and they will enforce it with guns, fines, take your property etc..

So what they are saying is; You are thirsty in the Desert, and you stumble upon some water collected by God and Nature, and you need to get a license, a permit, because there is a law and the only way to get around that law is to get a license or permit or you go to Jail. Holy # I hope your Roof never leaks. Don't get caught collecting it.
THE water Police will come get yah in their DRONE!! OMG Its one thing to get on your knees but its another to kiss there !@#$%in feet. Do people really believe corporations' bylaws/local ordinances apply to them. And these supersedes GODS law. DID these people swear on a BIBLE?? Does anybody believe in inalienable rights anymore?? AS some one implied earlier a Car suck, in what 500 Cubic feet of air per minute, smoke all day long..
I knew I would get my revenge one day.I am going to go plant some tomatoes in the back of my neighbors yard. He never goes back there. Then I'll call the GARDEN police to bust his ASS.

Some of them are local. However, the rainwater one for sure is part of the UN Agenda 21. Agenda 21 has spread to local and state governments as well thru different names. I will try to find out what they are called at the local level so that people can check to see if their local government has bought into it.

When will we all agree that the government that governs best is the government that governs least? Power leads to abuse, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

We need to support Ron Paul for president of USA..."enough is enough"

These ridiculous local and state laws ARE an extention of the Federal governments "model" of taking away freedom and liberty in favor of supporting "corporations" best interests, not the people's best interests...oh but wait corporations now have the SAME rights as people....hardly.....friggin obscene....

Okay, I found it. It is called ICLEA it is a local community version of the UN Agenda 21.

Here is a link that you can go to and find out if your community is part of it. If they are, I suggest you wake people up as to what it stands for!
