Not sure if this is the place for this, but I had to post it because even after Vietnam, we still haven't learned our lesson, and for those of us old enough to remember it, it is nice to see that some of the younger generation learned a bit from us hippies.

Mods, if this is in the wrong place, you know what to do, Just wish we could post it everywhere.

My all time favorite:

Unfortunately we found that the hippy movement was backed by the KGB, in an effort to undermine American society and defeat American will to fight in Vietnam at home. Russians were fighting against Americans in Vietnam to spread communism.

The hippy movement gave us; Drugs, Single parent homes, Rampant welfare, ghetto sprawl, the socialist/marxist movement in government, rapid spread of venereal disease. Nothing really positive. The people who are now old have ruined society for the young.

The one thing we all learned is that it's not polite to have an intelligent conversation with an unarmed foe.

Run along skippy...

I saw my 21 year old daughter for Easter. She said she loves my hair getting longer again.

And I gotta laugh that most of the idiots getting hacked and attacked seem to deserve it... though this one in thought of Jenna Rose, a 13 year old rising star - that poor kid got her accounts hacked by some Nazi... it was wierd too - like there was no way for her to get her accounts back. It gave me the impression is wasn't any ordinary hacker but instead another "inside job".

KGB? Well yea the earth-dominating satanic powers both had interests in any anti-war movements within the USA. KGB wanted active govt resistance. CIA wanted drug-customers for $, VD test-subjects, and they both feared the # out of anyone learning about Jesus by reading bibles. Oh and they still run the churches... the priests tell you what to think rather than tolerating you're own interpretations beyond render unto ceaser and you'll be rich for giving your money to meeee! Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it, including the deaths of innocents like your own children at war. I have a nephew in that situation while his father believes what he's been taught instead of what he COULD think. They've been fooled by Maniacal Authority.

Seriously we've got the technology to fry any human on the planet with a lazer from space. Like what happend to the world trade center via "the inside job" *(google Judy Wood and Toasted Cars).
We don't need no more idiots and morons... war whores...

War the whore... we can't take it no more... first it was nucs, now its instant immediate assassinations. Even drones are old-tech. Consider that even children have better drones than the military now, and what's it take to mount a gun on one of those kid-toy helicopters? Not much.

You could not be more wrong. It amazes me greatly that so many of you still exists. According to you, Man at the top is adversely affected by those at the bottom. That "they" (Hippies, minorities, workers, philosophers, song writers, etc.) harms vested interests rather than the opposite. You represent the segment of society that outlaws "Pyramid Schemes" as they sit at the top of their own pyramids. The masses do not control the Elite, the Elite controls the masses. It's been that way since day one.

Now, back to your post. The KGB did not create "Hippies." The ilk you represent created hippies. The hippy movement was the product of the Elite's gross manipulation of another Nation's desire to follow the path to "Free Determinism." America's involvement in Viet Nam was nothing less than an attempt to regain one of France's Imperial Nations lost as a result of the occupying Japanese forces of WW-2.

Viet Nam was not about encroaching communism as it was about RUBBER! The French wanted to come back to Southeast Asia after the war and dictate their Imperial ambitions once again. Of course, the Vietnamese who remembered the French control of their nation, rebelled and gave France the worst military defeat in modern warfare. Uniroyal Tires was no longer able to receive cheap rubber from Southeast Asia.

America tried this with Cuba. Fidel's revolution did not sit well with Wall St. It is a historical fact that Fidel traveled to America seeking financial assistance in creating his government was snubbed by the Eisenhower Administration. Castro's revolution was the result of the majority of Cubans who suffered as a result of a military dictatorship. They wished to live in a system where they had more to say in national issues. They wanted control over their national product that was denied by the Batista regime. Batista was funded by American and British concerns. Both assisted Batista's regime to thwart revolution forces. The Wall St. interests in sugar, tobacco and coconut found they no longer "own" Cuba as in the past. Wall St.applied pressure on Washington to punish Castro who had the audacity to represent the majority of people in his country. Only after being snubbed, Castro sought assistance from Moscow.

These are just two of the rare instances where the majority rule dictates policy. America, who exists as a result of revolution. who proclaims the right to Free Determinism, is guilty of the same tactics used by the King of England to deny our own revolution. Normally, and only after a rare instance exists, the majority of people have little power to create the problems of the world. They are the victims of the whims of "Authority." America, as written by the framers, was intended to be opposite of being governed by those who show contempt for the Constitution. What we now have is a situation where Wall St. rules over us. Their interests are favored regardless of the damage done to the country. Leaders elected and take the oath to support the Constitution has neglected their primary responsibilities.

How this applies to you, is that you obviously support those who are un-american. You look in the mirror while shaving and see exactly who is responsible for your problems. It's not Hippies. It is you. You are responsible for the problems you see. Hippies only hold the mirror for you.

You and skippy above have the same misconceptions about the hippie movement. Sure towards the end it brought all the negative side effects, but at first it was about changing the world through peace and love and allowing the individual to decide not the elitists. The bad side came about from Government derailing and stupid people getting involved.

The same thing is happening to the Occupy movement, People who don't understand but just want to be part of something are thinning the movement, diluting it if you will, soon it to will fall apart for the same reasons the hippie movement did.

So don't blame the ills on the true hippies, put the blame where it belongs, with the government corruption and the idiots who will listen to anyone and believe all they say as gospel!

And since when is speaking your mind and exercising your rights "Anti-American" , I thought that was what our founding fathers wanted, not this imperialistic country we have now, for that fault look in your own mirror, and I hope you like the horror you see there!

Seems like one thing the "hippies" established was a vector for the truth via music. But after they assassinated John Lennon and made nearly everyone getting a song produced to swear alegience to Satan and/or their producers... the music has died. On 911 it was especially starteling to my buddies and I how the music was dead that day. There wasn't a single radio station with music on it. And now? Well the music sucks unless you get improv videos on youtube (eg: I shared mine above). And sure I'm not as good as Bruce Springsteen, but OMG why isn't his song (above) on every radio station all over the place? Oh right, we're supposed to glorify hip-hop and hate.

So for now there seems a vector for the truth via the social media, but OMG, the AZ laws, NDAA, NDRA, etc... that's getting killed too. Want to speak the truth? Better have a pair of "Jesus balls" so that you're ready to die for it. If not just shut up and lick boots and be a happy Nazi cause N Korea just launched their missile... do you think we'll shot it down? Launch WWIII like the banks want? Funny its not on the news yet... they're focused on Zimmerman and the sport of the POTUS race for party chief (DEM=REP = Fascist/Commie totalitarian puppets for the IMF). War Whores.

Where do you and i disagree? Everything you stated is true. However, your point (like mine as well) is only one aspect of "ALL" considerations that morphed into the Hippy movement. My point was from the academic's view of Viet Nam, and America's foreign policies. Without adding the points in my previous post, the hippy movement's origin stemmed from Collage and University discord.

Mr. Dbriefed on the other hand, wishes to cling to the old cold war mentality created by minions of various power groups in Washington. Obviously he missed the point in Eisenhower's farewell speech when he warned us to be wary of the great Military Industrial Complex, and how it poses a threat to American values. Personally i think he is Troll seeking attention. You know...he is one who espouses Conservative dribble as opposed to analytic reasoning abilities.

Thats why i felt the need to address his simplistic rhetoric. He should not blame "Hippies" for the world's problems. After all, they addressed the problems posed by the criminal element within our society. Although i was not a hippy, as i enlisted in the NAVY at seventeen, i have no problem with them. Actually, i have more respect for them than i do of Mr.Dbriefed and his ilk. They seem adapt at finding those who offer nothing but destruction and will resist your efforts to destroy their future. Thank God hippies commingled with each other and produced future hippies!

I was a child when I saw you do that thing,You hippies. It's one thing to be angry at the country and hating its ways. It's another to spit on good men who believed they were fighting to change it.You and that female creature who had the chance to carry out a message from men who defended her being held as POWs while she like YOU betrayed us all because of her knee jerk reaction to war.

Glad I downloaded this before they removed it, too bad they censor artistic expression, I could see doing this to straight posts, but artistic expression?, So if in my artwork posted to the members artwork forum I used the word a** or F**k, they would censor it.

This is a question for the mods.

Sorry but not all of us Did these things, they were the radicals which just about any movement ends up attracting, so please don't blame it on us Hippies, blame it on the radical idiots that joined our ranks.

And this is what I was referring too when I said that the movement started falling apart because of dis-info and government operations/infiltration. Some of the more radical "leaders" were government plants!

I do apologize but after watching how these guys poured their hearts into that effort I am fiercely proud of them.
They were sent to die in a no win scenario time after time but they showed us all how you do what to do when you have to.There was no gentleman's war here it was down and dirty. These men had their country turn away which hurt them more than the damn war. That is a why I had my knee jerk reaction to the word hippie.
Funny if you look at me I look like a hippie but my eyes tell you Klingon.

I agree, their country, and the radicals turned them away, those of us who follow the true hippie start gave them their due, they did what they had to in a situation that was untenable. They deserve our respect even when we disagree with the war, they were just doing what they were told by the "Authorities".

The same goes for the Gulf War and our "current Wars".

Just as an added note for those pro military, I may be a hippie, but I was in the military, I just chose a non-combative role, I was an Aviation Electronics Technician in the Navy, So I put my time in.

I have nothing but pride for those who serve it's the leaders and their poor excuses for war that I have problems with. That being said, I am a realist and understand that violence is sometimes necessary evil, but it should be THE last resort.
