So today our leader and constitutional professor took time during his press conference with the leaders of Mexico and Canada to threaten the Supreme Court.

Obama believes the non-elected justices have no right to overturn a law passed by the Democratic congress.
More proof of why he studied constitutional law...to rip it apart not protect it.

"Ultimately I am confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented extraordinary event by overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected congress," Obama told reporters today while speaking with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Mexican President Felipe Calderon. "I'm confident that this will be upheld because it should be upheld." Obama concluded.

That is exactly the same mentality that the ZImmerman lynchers have.

The Constitution gives the government the right to support the welfare of the American public...I'd say healthcare is well within their jurisdiction.

On a side note: Where were you when the individual mandate for car insurance was enacted?

Obama with another *because I said so* statement. Just like a condescending father to an intelligent question from his child.

When is America going to stand up and say enough is enough.

Plus, the healthcare bill SHOULD be upheld.
You guys have seen too much propaganda against it. You've been brainwashed. You're just talking with your emotions at this point, not with any logic.
Example:
"It's against the constitution!!!!! AHHHHZ!"
"It's socialism!!!! AHHHZ!"
It's not socialized medicine, far from it. They're just using that word socialism to manipulate you.

May I ask....do you pay taxes, to help fund this unconstitutional boondoggle.....I do. I don't want to.

you skipped my post where I explain why it IS constitutional. (Technically, only the supreme court decides if things are constitutional or not, it doesn't matter if you think it's constitutional or not)
The vast majority will still be paying for their own insurance. Your point is moot.
And I'd still have no problem if my tax dollars went to helping sick people...it's better than having my dollars go to our military.

The car insurance thing is a state issue, I can also choose not to drive. To be forced to pay for something just for living is a little bit different. Or maybe you don't think so.

It's more like a statement of fact to the crazy person standing on the corner yelling at a brick wall.

Legislating from the bench...that is what people should be worried about. If they want to call the mandate unconstitutional...fine...but keep your damn hands off the rest of the constitutionally passed bill.

You can choose not to buy health insurance...you just have to pay a fine.

And from what I remember of the bill, the federal government mandate is on the States...then the States have to mandate the individual. This is why it should be upheld because the Federal mandate isn't on the individual....and the States already mandate individuals to purchase car insurance.

Why do you have such a problem with your tax dollars going to sick people?
That isn't just directed to you. I'd like everyone to explain this.

As I listened to the news this morning, it appears that 36% of the population of California is on welfare. That's a lot of people not paying taxes. Haven't a clue on the numbers for other states, but it can't be good. So, how high will the taxes get raised on the population that does pay taxes, to fund these unconstitutional programs.

What does one have to do with the other?

You don't have to own a car if you don't want to pay for insurance.

But since we all have bodies...there is no choice to purchase this, which is against the constitution.

The government has no right to force you to buy anything.

yeah, I want my tax dollars going to all crack babies setting on their front porch drinking a 40 because they are too lazy, stupid or ignorant to get a job, while they're waiting for their welfare checks to come in the mail. Give them a piss test, can't pass, no check. Oh, yeah lets talk about community service, look around you, there's plenty of work that could be done in turn for that check.

Ok, then when the government says your car is dangerous, if you want to buy a car you must buy a GM volt.

That's not even as far the healthcare mandate goes.

It is the government saying how you must spend your money or pay a fine....you think that is American?

It is not...so please take your communist, marxist, socialist ideas and get out of this country if you don't like it ...excercise the little freedom you have left because of us crazy constitutionalists and leave.

The point is my post was that your dictator leader said the Supreme Court does NOT have the autority to decide if it is constitutional.

And my opinion does count...it's called voting and activism.

why don't you leave?

He didn't say that...that's what you said he said.
He just said that they shouldn't overturn it. He didn't say they can't.

and just because you call him a dictator or a communist, doesn't make him one.
You realize Obama and his corporate leaders would lose all of their wealth if this country turned communist, right?
No, communism is the last thing these greedy men want.
