Not big news, but Joaquin is making a few films.

2013 Untitled Charlie Kaufman and Spike Jonze Project (pre-production)

2012 Untitled James Gray Project (filming) as Bruno Weiss

2012 The Master (post-production) as Freddie Sutton

2 of them he is co-starring with Amy Adams, perhaps they have the same agency, random facts, I was just interested in the fact that he did quit acting from 2008 to 2012, that is a considerable amount of time for an actor of his caliber. 4 year break, either he really did want a break or the the hoax mockumentary backfired on him. One thing that was not a hoax was his depression for not winning an Oscar for Walk the Line. He is a good enough actor to have fooled other actors with his claim, perhaps because it was partially a lie.

I do look forward to seeing him in the new movies, I'm a bit of a sucker for 'down and out' actors, even when they are filthy rich. Which is why I'm probably a fan of Crispin Glover and Owen Wilson.
