after finding what he thought was child pornography

read the source it was and the guy was charged. Allurchips

OP*

Ummm, interesting story here, read two sources ,and seems this guy is a career thief, but still has some honor. I dis-like theifs but pedos even more, so I for one am glad he did what he did. Now that person with the child porn is labeled and is known now!

This guy might be trusted to watch your kids just might steal the house while doing it.

Dear Bilder,

A similar case happened in the United States where someone broke into a house and found child pornography on the laptop in the house, he turned himself in along with the evidence. I don't know how the case ended up. There is good in most people, many just need a sufficient reason to express it. Peace.

Chips, Buddy... There was child porn on the phone.

Magistrate Michelle Hodgson said the man needed to be congratulated after his actions led to a 46-year-old man being charged with child pornography offences.

The thief was charged for his crimes and the phone owner, for theirs.

Quick, take back the nelson laugh before anyone notices!

That said, I am not surprised in a way... I mean, even people in prison consider pedophiles the lowest of the low.

Erm...And then they charge the "fake robber" with theft? Hmm... I don't think so.

Or were you joking? I am tired and have a headache. So it may have just gone over my head. If so, I apologize.

Either way...Anyone have an aleve?

Yeah its a no-brainer if you have any sort of moral compass you would want the pedo nailed regardless of the consequences after all they are the lowest form of bottomfeeders besides politicians

lolololololololol why take 1 aleve when you can take 20 advil? JK don't try this.

edit: i think that they would then "pretend" to charge the thief with theft, and then send him off somewhere to do other thiefy stuff.

just a theory:

what if this guy was someone who knew something that "They" didn't want him to know?

they get their "Thief" to break in, and plant evidence, to frame him for anything they want.... ?

in this case, a very bad thing "child pornography". a thing that immediately gets everyone so mad that they see past the possibility of foul play, and say "YES good! put that pedophile in jail!"

when in reality, nobody knows the guy.

look at the logical mistakes in this news report or whatever it is.

1. robber breaks in, and starts playing with phone. ( LOL WHAT? i thought robbers didn't have time to mess around, didn't anyone ever watch discovery channel? )

2. he SEES this stuff on the phone, and instead of being sneaky and hiding the phone somewhere on the outside of the suspected pedo "AKA the guy getting robbed" and calling the cops and hinting them, and then running away.... he TURNS HIMSELF IN..... i call fake, no way would a robber ever do that. people aren't that good.

3. the cops believe the Thief, and the guy accused has no say what so ever.

what is wrong with all this information?

peace.

No worries. I wont. I actually hate taking pills. I always get that nasty after taste. Yuck.

Hmm, Interesting thought, but personally, I find it much more likely that even thieves find pedophiles reprehensible. Reprehensible enough to do the right thing so that this pervert gets locked up.

Though, I admit, if I had stolen a phone and found child porn on it, I would have tried to find a way to send it to the police station anonymously with a note that says " I found this phone on the ground and there is child porn on it".

But who knows, maybe the guy figured he was about to get caught or something and saw this as a way to get a bit of leniency...

I really just find it a stretch and a half to suggest that they hired a fake criminal to break into some ones house and steal phones ( There by making him a real thief) in hopes of finding child porn on some ones phone...

The FBI has there ways of catching pedophiles and this is not one of them.

The article says no such thing. It says he found child porn on it. Not that he stuck around and played with the phone.... You know... it is possible to look at a phone after he got out of the house....Common sense dictates that this is what happened...

2. he SEES this stuff on the phone, and instead of being sneaky and hiding the phone somewhere on the outside of the suspected pedo "AKA the guy getting robbed" and calling the cops and hinting them, and then running away.... he TURNS HIMSELF IN..... i call fake, no way would a robber ever do that. people aren't that good.

There is no realistic reason to assume that it is not possible...

My uncle once admitted to breaking and entering. He was going to tag some place. He ended up witnessing a robbery and some one got shot. He wanted to do the right thing... He did. So yeah, things like that do happen. People can be that good. Even murderers in prison consider pedophiles the lowest of the low.

3. the cops believe the Thief, and the guy accused has no say what so ever.

They investigated the claim, found proof that it was true and both were charged....Sure the guy has a say. That is what court is about....

what is wrong with all this information?

Your take on it....

my idea is that they wanted to get this guy QUICK. i call cover up.

and ever since Sopa Acta Pipa and countless other laws that nobody in the USA voted for or were even told about that basically strip everyone of their freedoms as citizens, i am not surprised at the thought that the government can do everything and anything they want to in any way they want to.

the government has always been sneaking around the internet and they really do know what everyone is doing all the time, but the fact that they suddenly made lots of laws giving them selves legal permission to do so, means that they are really trying to cover their "butts" because they are planning on doing ALOT with their new "rights"

ALSO, my theory is that the man caught with the stuff on his phone, is possibly innocent and that they wanted to nail him with those charges on purpose!

i don't know, and the world may never know.

i doubt we will ever hear from this guy again and he will probably never be free again.

innocent or guilty, this guy is scr**ed

we just have to hope that they had a good reason to do that to that guy to take him in, or that the news is telling the 100% truth and he really was a pedophile.

peace.

That’s thinking outside the box right there, but prob a little to much conspiracy in your blood.

And the premise of the guys stealing a phone and going through it at the moment is most likely wrong, Im sure he got to a comfy spot like his home and then started going though the phone and noticed the pictures and his thoughts were shifted to …….he has to do something about this.

Which he did, which would show you that yes people who steal from other people and cause grief can be good if you polish them up and look a little deeper!

its just a Theory bro.

i wanted to explore the not so far off possibility that my Theories may be correct.

who knows right?

if i hadn't mentioned it, nobody would have even slightly considered the possibility. (unless they thought the same thing was possible lol )

but i like to share my thoughts and opinions sometimes, and if it opens someones mind or two, it makes me feel as if i have done at least a small good deed.

but whatever ^_^

Nothing personal, buddy. We here at ATS LOVE a good debate.

Sometimes I try to jump into one when the other person is not really up for it. If that is the case, my apologies. If not, then...Have at you.
( Yes, I am a dork)

i wanted to explore the not so far off possibility that my Theories may be correct.

Be my guest. I wanted to debate you.

And for the record, I think they were pretty far off.

who knows right?

In this case, the court that sentenced them both.

but i like to share my thoughts and opinions sometimes, and if it opens someones mind or two, it makes me feel as if i have done at least a small good deed.

And please continue to do so. ATS needs more members that do that. But hey, you have to expect people questioning you when trying to open minds. especially on ATS.

Nothing personal at all. We just love a good, spirited discussion. I welcome hearing your thoughts.I hope you don't mind my offering my thoughts in return though. You wont last long if you expect people to not question you.

As for opening minds, I encourage people to keep an open mind, but not too open otherwise their brain might fall out. So in addition to keeping an open mind, Logic and common sense are equally valuable tools.

At the end of the day though, never be afraid to speak your mind and state your thoughts and beliefs, even in the face of questioning. It will happen a lot.

Anyway, I will leave you alone... I sense that maybe this is an unwanted debate and I really don't mean to bother you. I mean well, honest.

Heading off for the night, anyway. Feel free to send me a U2U sometime. You seem like a genuinely nice person.

*REPLY HERE!!!!!!!!*

i know! but "we" as people who weren't there, don't know because the court and the judge could be 100% fake or paid/bribed/acting/fabricated and then they just tell everyone that what happened, meanwhile there's some poor innocent old dude in guantanamo bay or something lol.

100% honest truth: i really don't know, and i hope it isn't that deep because that would be depressing.

*END REPLY!!!!!!!!!*
