I am seeking a software for burning DVD/CD, which should be capable to recognize any format or most format extant automatically and are able to convert it, to adapt (compress) automatically running time of the movie I selected from my PC for the capacity of disc.
Otherwise, to keep the screen ratio of original edition from compression, because some of film are more 16:9 but 4:1.

I've found ConvertXtoDVD to be a good tool for this.
For other opinions, a useful site with guides and software reviews is videohelp.com

May I recommend CDBurnerXP? Burns every file format, even iso files. No frills, or other trash comes with it.
